Title: ACE event on 10/25
Sue - October 20, 2009 05:32 PM (GMT)
Is anyone else planning to attend the ACE Superhero Celebration event on 10/25? We'll be there for the first part of the day and will be skipping night ERT to head to Lake Compounce for the evening. Of course, that is subject to them actually being open.
We're not fans of the new Bizarro so it's not a big loss for us to miss the night ERT on it.

I also could do without the new Bizzaro. Like some of the sets and lighting but over all is a bit of a waist of money.
I won't be going. Money is tight and I don't need to be going to yet another SFNE event when I could be Visiting other New England parks. I will be at Santa's Village on the 24th and a Whalom Meeting on the 25th.

It's actually free to season pass holders which is a really nice touch. Even though we don't like their ride selection, their customer service has definitely improved. They've always treated us very well at coaster events.

i haven't had a season pass for SFI for a few years now. Been spending the money or lack of money on other things. Trying to hit a few other parks.
did you make it to the event. How was it did you have fun.

We only stayed for part of the event since we went to Lake Compounce at night. SFNE always treats the enthusiasts well and this was no exception. We especially enjoyed the meal. SFNE has some of the best catering food we've had aside from Lake Compounce. They had very good hot dogs, grilled chicken, and ziti.
We weren't at night ERT, but we heard the added Thunderbolt to the ERT which was a nice touch.

Sounds like you had a full day. I have never done SFNE and LC in one day, However I have done Quassy and LC in one day.

We almost always visit SFNE and LC during the same day in October. Since LC doesn't open until 5, it makes sense to visit SFNE for a couple hours first.
