Title: Kiddieland Magical Forest
Ben James Ben - July 1, 2009 09:11 PM (GMT)
I was told a rumor from a reliable source that Canobie Lake Park intends to renovate the kiddie land area, to make it a distinct section of the park. The new kiddie land would be given a "magical forest" theme with trees and moss. The area would be given a proper entrance in the shape of a castle. I originally thought that the floor was to be made out of that foam that playgrounds are covered with, but now I don't think that this is the case.
Now, this project might not happen (things can change, the project might be blocked by obstacles, Canobie could change their minds, etc.). However, as of this moment Canobie definitely has plans to do it.

The kiddie land needs to be redone no matter what. They might as well give it a theme and look. It would be something they could market. Though I wouldn't want all new kiddie rides. Having the older rides make it stand out from kiddie lands in other large pars int he area like SFNE and LC.

I cant wait to see what its going to look like
And I agree with mrceagle on keeping the old rides because they just got 2 new kiddie rides as well Maybe they could add one though like a kite flyer or rockintug

If this is true i like it alot. kiddie land really needs updates and alot of work. as for the old rides ehh out with the old in with the new if this happens.

Why, The majority of new rides function just like the old ones but have more problems mechanically. Not to mention teh 2-3 million they woudl have to invest to buy all new kiddie rides.

Even with deal, which would require rides form one company(Ala Six flags), you are looking at a large investment. Thing is there are so many kiddie lands with those rids it woudl not stand out at all.

They're well on their way as far as landscaping is concerned, the area around WaveBlaster and the new ride pads has been really built-up with boulders and lush plantings. If that spreads through-out KiddeLand it'll be really nice!

Boston I noticed that they were using a lot of rocks in the hill sides. looks goo no matter the theme.
Inustrial Kid - What rides do you want to see. you looking at at least a dozen new rides to replace all the old ones. please give a list of new rides that aren't like rides they already have.
One of the only ones I can even think of is a kiddie tea cup ride. but they don't really need A kiddie one they need an a full scale family one.
