apparently six flags os going to keep catapault and kontiki but they are ditching the other rides. I think that people would like catapault more if the ride was longer. what do you guys think?

not sure were you got your rumors. more into is out regarding the rides. Yes Double Trouble and Rodeo are gone already off their old Plots. Kontiki and Bumper buggies are operantly going to be SFNO. that small area will be closed. A wall will be constructed. that also means the Family restrooms are going to be closed.

Catapult will be getting new restraints. given the maintenance heavy needs of the ride I don't see then operating the ride at a longer cycle since that would simply add more wear and tear on the ride.

Batman has also been delayed beyond guess by the park. Announcements for the coaster simply state new for 08 now.

That basic news is long running. around a month old. even the restraints info which is what you might have read is 2 weeks old. In all they are still out 4 attractions from last year.

What isn't in this post form last year are the Pay Lockers,$1 dollar, you will have to use for loose articles. There is also a new Flash Pass system which has been offered at other arks with a price increase.

I just don't see why they would get rid of Catapult after having it for so little time.

you have to use the lockers? that is so dumb what happended to the lockers in the station?

FYI - Kontiki and Catapult are both still in the park and both still running.

Double Trouble and Rodeo both have been removed (the kiddie bumper cars have been somewhat removed.)

They will not allow you to use. them Their argument is this is for Safety and loading time. IMO It's about making more money of the guests in the park.

Another rule that was operantly put in place was a requirement to get new Drink cups. The old cups will not be allowed. They will also not allow the refillable Pop corm/cotton Candy tubs. You will have to but new ones.
