The park closed in like 95 or 96. But they still had some midway left.

Almost all of it was gone anyway, they don't have much to demo at this point. Not like Whalom :(

Souless Corpse, I like your avatar! Reminds me of my AOL dial-up days

I remember seeing that commercial when I was like 13. That is so funny.

My hate for AOL is not matched by many things...so i would agree there. I have not had the horror of having to use it, however i know many stories from people who have lol

Rocky point was Quite the park. They have a huge selection of rides and many trill rides. On top of Corkscrew you could also ride an intemin first gen Free fall. Apparently they had a lot of expansion room also. If the only wasn't so dumb and payed his taxes chances are it would still be around. Likely it would have become SFNE not Riverside.

That would have been so much better if rockypoint would have became 6 flags instead of Riverside. A good idea.
When I went to rockypoint, I must have missed a whole section of the park because I never saw a corkscrew, or a free fall. I didn't see very many rides at all. Just a flume and a bunch of kiddie rides. Or many it was because I was a kid.
