Well after all the hassle with the the ads and nothing getting resolved after a bunch of messages back and forth, I started looking at some other forums for better hosting. After a bit of reading I realised that I could just setup a phpbb forums on my own server. I've installed it and everything seems to be running ok, just need to update the graphics and test things out. If I had checked into it a bit more, I could have done this a couple of years ago and not have to deal with any ads or crap like invisionfree.

I should have it ready in a couple of days, so get over there and sign up when it's done. I'll post the link up when its all ready.

You probably have them blocked with firefox but they are there. Anyways, It doesn't matter because it will still be better to host my own forums. More freedom.

Ah, well it figures. They just took the ads down today. No matter though because we still are moving and the new forums will be very similar.

No, so we'll have to start from scratch again. It'll will be okay though.

me too, but indeed, Psi also had quite the problems with his invision forums.

Yeah, its a shame about the database, but I will try to keep things similar if not better. I'll copy over some info from our useful links threads and all the video tuts and stuff. If anyone wants to start new threads on their projects, that's cool too. I know I'm going to post up a thread on the apu because I have links posted to it from other site. I think we'll have things up and running in no time. Also, I have the ability to back things up too. So if we ever need to move again in the future, we should be able to with all of our original stuff. I think it's probably just best to move now instaed of waiting any longer.

Ok, I might disable the forums tomorrow so I can start redirecting traffic to the new site. If anyone needs to get some old links to their images or whatever, now would be a good time to do it. The forums will be disabled and not deleted.
