The Wait is Over ..... Today was thE Day
March 5, 2007 Hurry! We need to get back to our nest! There's an egg on the way!      First Momma arrives, followed quickly by Dad. She settles in to the nest bowl.   Suddenly K26 spreads her wings! We think she is very hot, but...something wonderful is happening!   Momma's feathers get all puffed up, and she keeps turning around and around.   She is working very hard! Now a precious eagle egg has arrived.   She rolls the egg into the nest bowl. Time for a rest! Here comes Dad, K10. She quietly tells him the good news, and settles down for the night. |
