And God asked the feline spirit

Oh, yes, quite so, replied the precious soul
And, as a cat, you know I am most able
To decide anything for myself.

Are you coming then? asked God.
Soon, replied the whiskered angel
But I must come slowly
For my human friends are troubled
For you see, they need me, quite certainly.

But don't they understand? asked God
That you'll never leave them?
That your souls are intertwined. For all eternity?
That nothing is created or destroyed?
It just is....forever and ever and ever.

Eventually they will understand,
Replied the glorious cat
For I will whisper into their hearts

WELL, I HAVE NOT BEEN COMING ON IN THE MORNINGS BECAUSE OF THE OLYMPIC SPOILERS, BUT I FIXED MY EYE ON IWS.ORG AND DIDN'T WAVER.
WE'LL SEE WHAT TODAY BRINGS AT THE OLYMPICS, BUT I DO ROOT FOR THE COUNTRIES WITH NOT SO MANY MEDALS. LITTLE ARMENIA HAD NOT WON ANYTHING YET, AS OF YESTERDAY.

JUST AS IN AGES PAST, IT WAS A CONTEST BETWEEN THE SOVIET UNION AND THE USA, AND EVEN EAST GERMANY, SO IT IS WITH US AND CHINA - NOW. HMMMM.

Good morning peeps!

I believe the leak is fixed

At 8:00 a.m. this morning the doorbell rings and the roofing company is there. I am in my bathrobe and jammies as I was expecting them at noon.

After 2 hours on the roof they discovered an air vent where the pipe was cracked and not caulked properly, so they replaced it on the spot.

Condo president came to see what was happening and will approve all costs involved, I hope . Ceiling repairs, painting, re-wiring of chandelier and re-finishing of the diningroom table and possibly the oak floor.

Now to get my contractor here soon, after everything dries out to do the repairs, he isn't the quickest person to get things done but he is the best.

Today we have watched our local White Tailed Eagle pair, we got some photos with our diascope and camera, digiscopie. on these photos is the male. he was ringed in 1991 in Germany. We saw two fledglings and the male delivered a prey to them at the lakeshore, but we got no photos from these action.

Hello Cruzers from A-79 the Lopez Canyon eaglet.



My name is now ' Kaya - B '

Kaya means 'elder sister' in the Hopi language and since she did have a sibling which did not survive on her nest, I thought this would an appropriate name for her. The 'B' is for Bette, since this is the last female to be named from this year's eaglets. I did not want to give her Bette's name only, as we all have seen what can happen to some of these fledglings and I just didn't want to hear about a mortality of an eaglet with her name. This way, she will be known as Kaya, but with a special initial honouring Bette too



May she live long and prosper as an adult on the Channel Islands.

A special thanks to Dr. Sharpe for this honour which means a great deal to me

HI Penny, this eagle pair has their nest in a privately owned forest and everything in a radius of 1200 meters from the nest is completely closed fore the public.
This couple were the first eagles who came back to Denmark, they are fortunately very protected. We have watched them since 1997, when their first chick was hatched and the first eagle chick in Denmark, after many years.
