 THIS IS THE LAST POST FOR EAGLELAND. MOST OF THE EAGLETS HAVE FLEDGED OR THE CAMS HAVE BEEN TURNED OFF FOR THE SEASON. IF ANY IMPORTANT NEWS IS AVAILABLE, I WILL KEEP YOU POSTED.Latest update from Delta 2 Nest..... Apparently Linux fledged yesterday but apparently he wasn't quite ready. Cam viewers notified O.W.L. (Orphaned Wildlife Rehab) which is close to the nest and Linux was found safe and unharmed on the ground. Here are some posts from the Delta forum.......   Beautiful Linux before fledging   |

CAROLE..--Thank goodness LINUX is getting a second chance after his impromptu early first flight attempt and that the nest is near enough O.W.L.!!
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH,... for bringing to us all , so many different nests around the country ...it is a huge task that you do every day!  Your dedication to Eagleland brings so much pleasure to us all, ..by being able to watch these nests as well and how things progress from Nestorations, to  , to  , then  and to  . Many of these nests are way ahead of our Channel Island Eagles egg laying time...and you give us an early start in nesting eagle watching enjoyment. |

I am overjoyed that you loved Eagleland, it means so much to this labour of love. It's difficult to stop posting but I want to devote my time to our eagles who are starting out on their adventures. It's a worrisome time when they fledge as we pray they all stay safe.  Wishing them all Godspeed on their journey and may they all soar high and free |

PEETIE-I hope your mouth is feeling better today..we all are so glad this is tooth problem over for you.
CAROL--I hope things settle down for you. Please feel free to vent your frustrations here...it is a good mental health break, if nothing else ,to share some troubles ,if need be. Sending you Cruzer Mojo. Cool, damp and overcast this morning. Some clearing forecasted for later in the day...we will be grilling for our Fourth celebration and sitting on the ole deck rocking chairs this afternoon, watching the beach, far from the crowds.  Luckily we can see a good fireworks show from home too...DH always appreciates no crowds, no traffic jam 4th of July...me too. Been there, done that.  |
