Cat, Penny, George & Sandie - Thanks for your comments on Meghan. The one thing she has in her favour is her age, 16, she will heal well and quickly. Unfortunately she will be out of soccer for at least 6 months. As far as going to NY, we may all still go
George - You know Meghan and you saw how gung-ho she is about soccer so you can empathize with her. By the way, Katz's Deli is the best . After seeing you in Philly last year we went to NY and Alan had to go to Katz's. It was delicious but very expensive, brought home lots of leftovers as the portions were huge. Did you notice the sign over one of the tables "When Harry Met Sally" was filmed at that table, the infamous |

Carole - I am so sorry. I bet Meghan is just heart-broken. I am glad she was able to get the MRI. |

As Roy/LL was leaving to go to an appointment this morning these beauties were in the front garden.
He dashed back for his camera and managed to grab these few shots before they moved on down the road. ![]() ![]() ![]() (You will notice I have some weeding to do there!) |

yes i did but, being a pseudo milatry historian, the kitsch of thier slogan "send a salami to your boy in the army" struck me. Still i hope to return faster than excrement thu a goose for another pastrami sandwich with a dr brown's black cherry soda. Geeze, i may even get a non diet version. |

Thanks Cat ...
They have the run of our two gardens ... we haven't closed them off ... and they even eat plants that are supposed to be Deer Resistant! And they like to rest in the back garden after their meal! We don't mind ... they were here first! Not sure some of our neighbours agree though. |

Pat how lovely they all are
Do the fawns belong to just one doe? Sweet...I wouldn't mind if they came a grazing in my back yard either The closest we've had to wild animals around here are the occasional raccoon and skunk, not including the rabbits and squirrels |

Hope Meghan's surgery goes well and that someone you trust will be doing the surgery. That's the part that always scares me. Pat Can I please have some of that in my back yard too? How adorable those deer are with the precious babies. |
