Dr. Sharpe - from the update, nest obs photos and some chat comments - it's not clear who was tagged and banded as what - except for #3 who is 5Z and banded as a female!
So between K24 and K27 - - Who was the larger bird, and was it larger by much? - What were each banded as? - Was one more feisty than the other at banding? Thanks! BTW I think that update was my favorite so far!  |

K-24 was the most feisty, but only when getting it out of the nest because it was standing. The other two were lying down. |

Now I think all's that's missing is which one was banded as male and which as female. Of course the blood tests will solve some mysteries.

K27 was banded as a female & K24 as a male; but, as you said, blood tests will be the final determination.
