WE nest, where is Metoo located. Is he/she in the back of the nest, or that long thing in the front?

WE nest, oh maybe that long stuff was fluff. Just saw eaglet 1 or 2 move it.

Last I saw #3 was cuddled up behind the chick to the 9. Eagles have short memories obviously. |

Metoo is behind the the other two, hope he is ok. At the last feeding only the two older chicks got some food. Metoo daring not move |

PH 7.58.
K10 keeps chewing on his toes on his right foot. Looks like he's trying to tear if off  He tugged and pulled and flapped on the 9 as Precious watched.8.00 K10 now stands at the 9 watching the right front and front. WE: Looks like BOZO wants to show s/he is the dominent one. Saw earlier posts that BOZO pecked down Metoo; few minutes ago it was BOZO #2's turn. Looks like #1 making sure sibs knows who's boss. Metoo is not the most submissive chick we've seen. Probably because #1 and #2 were more concerned with each other and establishing which is the dominent chick. Looks like Metoo is okay from earlier peck down, but after this will probably be more subdued with #1. Luckily Metoo is almost 1 month old and has gained weight and grown somewhat; unfortunately her spunk, bigger size #1 is seeing more as a threat. Metoo is probably going to have to rely on trickier moves from now on.
Metoo   Luckily banding is May 25th. So hopefully her survivor skills will kick into high drive and s/he will be checked out by the crew at banding time. Some 24 days away. Vickih  This post has been edited by vickih on May 1 2012, 07:09 AM |

WE nest, all three resting againt rock. Funny how normally we would be thrilled that there are 2 big and strong eaglets on nest, just that they're beating down Metoo.

WE - just opened my cams..
PH - Adult watches to the front...looks like K10....while Precious rests in the bowl SC - nest looks wet...adult keeping eaglets protected WE - #3 was in a submissive stance when I first opened my post, but is down now...all eaglets are resting now. |
