Hi everybody,
It’s Wednesday again… Let’s see, what have we done this week? Oh yeah, we have been working on our West End, Rattlesnake and Two harbors cameras. And also have been trying to keep tabs on K15 and K18, but so far we have only gotten signals from K15. Radiotracking on the south side ![]() ![]() Looking for birds as the sun goes down ![]() ![]() And it’s gone… ![]() ![]() On Monday, Pete and I headed to the Rattlesnake nest to figure out what was wrong with the camera. After a quick inspection, he decided to remove it and come back a later day with a functioning one. The researchers arrived last night and today we headed out to the Two Harbors nest. Pete and I worked on the camera while they collected samples. He zoomed out the camera and even though we may not be able to read the eagles’ tags, we think it is a beautiful and wide look at the nest. ![]() Pimu has been doing great these past couple of weeks. She perches and eats on the upper perches and vocalizes upon our arrival. ![]() ![]() Cont... |

Thanks to all of those who have adopted or renewed their Educational Eagle Adoptions. The Eagle Sponsor Board continues to grow and it sure makes a difference to us and the “girls” appreciated it too.
![]() ![]() Lastly, a few more shots of another morning of radiotracking on the east end ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Until next week, Steffani |
