All Eagles All The Time 2010/2011 is an Archival/History in Videos and Still captures showing the various stages throughout the year in the lives of the Eagles on the Pelican Harbor Nest on Santa Cruz Island.
.......  Photo courtesy of Topa Topa Hikers. (Click on thumbnail to enlarge) Season 2009/2010 was a very successful one for this nest. The two eggs laid both hatched, and A-69 aka Malik and A-68 aka Braveheart both successfully fledged in June 2010 Please check out the Class of 2010 to enjoy last seasonÕs memories of ŌNestorations to FledgingÕ. We hope that it wonÕt be too long before we see the adult eagles K-10 and K-26 once again at their nest ... bringing sticks and fluff ... to start the Restorations ... aka Nestorations by the A-49 Cruzers. Last year they started to bring in sticks in October but it was December before they got more serious about doing nestorations. The Videos/Stills and Screen Captures ... that will eventually be posted here on this thread ... have been selected ... as their favourites ... by the members who have captured them on Nest Watch. You can see more videos and still pictures ... at a later date ... by visiting the Daily Observations thread. Also known as Nest Watch We ask you NOT to post comments in this thread. September 24, 2010 K-10 was on the nest and K-26 flew in at 7:14........     K-10 flies off at 7:33 and returns at 7:35........   K-10 off again at 7:40 and returns at 7:45..........     |

K26 JOINS K10 ON THE NEST AT DUSK
October 23, 2010 6:31-35pm - Eagle #1 (K-10?) began a bowl inspection, then #2 arrived; the hole was surveyed. When K-26 assumed her usual perch in back, K-10 stayed in the bowl. K-10 left first and K-26 soon followed           |

K10 & K26's MORNING MARATHON!
October 24, 2010 The pair--and then K-10 alone--spent much time going back and forth to their nest...surveying the hole, warming up the nestorations... 7:15 and 7:16am   7:40 and 7:51am - K-26 on her perch and K-10 in the bowl--just like old times; another pair portrait   7:48 and 7:52am - K-26 watches K-10 arrive, and K-26 departs   7:58am - K-26 incoming with nest materials; K-26 watches K-10 exit at 8:08am   8:38am - K-10 watches K-26's final exit  9:27am - K-10 stayed more than an hour after she left, with a few ins and outs  |
