I too am thinking that our eagle will leave the nest sooner than most
baby eaglets... Today I saw so much food being put through that beak.. both by the parent and the baby itself.. he/she is really gaining the weight. Think how much smaller he/she would be if they were sharing the meals. |

Hi, I am watching from San Pedro CA. We have bred endangered parrots for years and it is so wonderful to see a bird breeding in the wild. Some is so similar to captivity but most is so different. Thank you so much for this opportunity.

We're watching from Laguna Beach, CA. It really is mesmerizing to use the word of a previous poster to watch this little guy and his first-time parents develop their life skills. I find myself yelling to my monitor when I think he/she's getting too close to the edge. Please keep us posted as to the eaglet's progress.

Hi, My name is Katarina Viljoen and I am the proud parent of Milena Viljoen, a wonderful biologist who works for the Montrose Settlements Restoration Program and who let us know when this project started. We live in Cochabamba Bolivia, South America, and we, the WHOLE family, have been watching this little one since day one! Even my dad who is 79 years old spends an hour or so every evening glued to the computer screen.
Thanks for having this project available for the whole world! It is a great teaching tool for the young and old! |
