the funny part was watching the hummer fly around the sleeping chick and the other one looking the total opposite direction with no clue ..... LOL

ph S&S were standing on back of nest then sat down. Now sounds of major vocalizations and am not sure if its they or 10 or 26 calling
video is very jerky and frezing for me here. now wins are staring driectly at the nest cam. I wonder if somebody is in the neighorhood preparing to make a delivery? Maybe its too early yet for Meals on Wings to deliver? |

Paula - I saw it in a blur.........and the video wasn't on, drat. Something is bothering them, they have been screeching for over 10 minutes now.

Eagle tried to land on left side of nest, S&S were calling out and flapping wings...
And right before that they were pecking at each other!! Couldn't get a pic |

PH - plane overhead and twins are scolding wildly--at least it looked like they were responding to that strange bird...well, I think...
Now I thought I saw a parent hit the nest, but take off again...? admist loud calling from the twins They are still squawking, but I see no parent - I did have my eyes on my typing when I thought I saw a parent come in and take off again...  anyone else having such visions? |

the twins are still watching and peeping so I'd guess the juvenile is still in the area - I wonder where mom/dad are??

I wondder if  has acess to the GPS to see who this mystery eagle is? Did we ever find out who the other one was that 10 and 26 got so annoyed at earlier this month?? |

I was just ready to close up shop and heard the peeping so just hit the key and didn't realize until I went to load the shots that the tag was BLUE not orange .... WOW! And then I saw the shots of the chicks in a defensive mode - all fanned out!
