All Eagles All The Time 2007 is an Archival/History in Videos and Still captures showing the various stages throughout the year in the lives of the Eagles on the Santa Cruz Nest.

First we have the Restoration of the nest....aka Nestorations by the A-49 Cruzers....The eagles started bringing sticks to their nest prior to the new year...but from January the pace has increased and the eagles are visiting regularly bringing more supplies to get the nest ready....the expectation is Eggs in February.

All these Videos and Stills have been selected by the capturers for this thread. You can see more videos and still pictures by visiting the Daily Observations thread. Now renamed Nest Watch

We ask you NOT to post comments in this thread. VIEWING ONLY PLEASE! This will enable faster viewing by Dr. Peter Sharpe and the IWS Team ... for record purposes .... and also for Members and visitors to the forum.

Early Morning Visit to the Santa Cruz Nest

January 6, 2007

eagle.gif Video by EDblue eagle.gif

K10 & K26 start the day off doing nestorations on their nest in preparation for eaglets. Two spots to watch closely in the video are when K10 pokes himself with a stick he's moving and startles himself at 3:02. He then goes up to 'tease' K26, who doesn't seem to appreciate it much and leaves at 3:55. At 8:26 watch the lower left portion of the window for K26 flying by seconds before returning to the nest at 8:31.

K26 returns from the top right. .................... He is trying to place the stick, but from her expression, looks like it is not where she wants it!
