**Does anyone have a suggestion for the correct format that needs to be used here for the USA equivalent of "STATE"? (COUNTRY & STATE)
My view is that it's pointless to post all the cities in any particular state, but the name of your "state" in another country might be not recognizable by every one. Of course, your city and/or some countries might not be recognizable?!?
How would YOU like to see it? Tell me and every consideration will be given to the suggestion! I'm trying to please.

What about a small map of the US? I'm sure it would help our friends, beyond our borders, have a better prospective of our states locations.

Great Idea Skye ....

I am also looking into adding the maps from the other countries that our members come from.

We can only post 10 captures on one post. There are 11 countries represented thus far ... and I did not want to double up on any of the maps. e.g. Australia & NZ or UK and Eire. (Republic of Ireland)

So I decided to just post the maps of the countries where more than 5 of our membership reside.

Unless anyone-else comes up with any other solutions.

How about a map of Europe...and list the countries from Europe under it

Australia and surrounding area to include New Zealand and Phillipines

Central and South America...

Well, you get the idea!

Paula .... Thanks for the suggestion ... I thought of that too ... but I think that the membership can also search the net to find those countries ... if they do not have an idea where in the world they are geographically.

When I was searching I couldn't find some of the members' areas ... the place listed where they live ... on their country's map ... and that is the main idea ... not just what country they live in.

JMHO.

just my tho'ts on something that I don't really think is a problem.....I'm understanding it. mellow.gif

Hi there! I have been missing in action all winter but I am back now that the eagles are back! I am watching from the cornfields of the Midwest United States - northeast Illinois - a small suburb of Chicago called Lake Zurich to be precise. And there really was a cornfield across the street from our home until it was sold some years ago for a subdivision. I liked the cornfield better. I am very happy that K-10 and K-26 are back!

We are watching from Cave Creek, Arizona and also have a secondary home in Prescott Valley, AZ. We are retired now.

My husband raised all types of birds when he was growing up in southern California. He had many birds. He had hawks, several types, pigeons, etc. We used to own a retail plant nursery and sold it in Jan. 2007. We set up the nursery to attract all types of birds.

We had hawks, peacocks (they laid two eggs & hatched one). We were able to get the peacock chick to eat out of our hands. We found your eagle cam through a family member. We really enjoy watching the eagles and eaglets growing up.

We wish you had a cam on a condor nest and peregrine nest.

I am watching from Elkton, MD. I live about 25 miles from the Conowingo Dam, which is a refuge for many eagles, year round. I generally visit there about 2-3 times per week and take many photos. A friend of mine from CA told me about your web cam.

Hi,
I am watching from Nyack,NY in the beautiful Hudson Valley.
We have Bald Eagles here during the winter months when they come to Iona Island from the north.I have seen a few up close, but never nesting. I came upon this site quite by accident but I am glad to have found it!

I am watching from the Bay Area. To be specific, San Jose, Calif, Willow Glen area. Lots of trees as this is the heart of old San Jose and was the town of Willow Glen years ago. No eagles here (sigh.)
Song birds abound and the occasional hawk wanders in.
