All Eagles All The Time 2009/2010 is an Archival/History in Videos and Still captures showing the various stages throughout the year in the lives of the Eagles on the Two Harbors Nest on Catalina Island
 ..........  .......... TH Nest & Patio ................. Two Harbor's - 'Pregnant Lady' .... Right side of the nest ................................................. Click on thumbnails to enlarge Season 2008/2009 was another successful .. and historic .. one for this nest. The two eggs laid were left on the nest for the first time .. and both successfully hatched naturally. K-91 aka Thunder and K-87 aka Lightning both successfully fledged in June 2009. Please check out the Class of 2009 to enjoy last season’s memories of ‘Nestorations to Fledging’. The adult eagles .. K-81 and K-82 .. are probably enjoying some well deserved R & R before returning to their nest .. to commence nestorations in readiness for the new season .. maybe later this month or in October as they did last year. The Videos and Stills .. that will eventually be posted here on this thread .. have been selected ... as their favourites ... by the members who have captured them on Nest Watch. You can see more videos and still pictures ... at a later date ... by visiting the Daily Observations thread. Also known as Nest Watch We ask you NOT to post comments in this thread. 's NEST IS STILL OCCUPIED! September 4, 2009 6:49am - K-81 goes left; one of his many ins and outs during the morning visit  7:06-7:08am - K-82 oversees an industrious K-81       7:32am and 7:34am - K-81 going and coming back   7:37am - K-82 departs--closing out the pair's sojourn  |

REMINDER - THIS
's NEST IS STILL OCCUPIED! September 4, 2009 6:17 AM - K81 arrives, looks around, moves a couple sticks   6:24 AM - K81 moves two sticks in the center of the nest to make and "X" - must be a note to the ravens!  Placing the second stick for the X:  6:29 AM - K81 flies off but quickly returns with a stick:  6:43 AM - K82'a arrival:    7:02AM - K81 arrives with big forked stick!!   This capture sums up the next 15 minutes - K81 moving the stick round and round and look at K82's expression!   |

's NEST IS STILL OCCUPIED! September 4, 2009   K-82 on left .. has right wing marker .. K-81 is smaller.   K-81 has lost his right wing-bling and belongs to the exclusive "Left Wing-Bling Only" Club on Catalina!   K-81 leaving................................................................... He's Backkkk!    K-81.................................................................... K-82 has waited long enough for him...........................................  ................................................................ Off she goes. Maybe the sticks/branches brought in this morning are to act as markers to other birds ... that this nest is taken! |
