Advanced Member Group: Moderators Posts: 45,259 Member No.: 208 Joined: 4-August 06	As you know All Eagles All The Time 2011/2012 is an Archival/History in Videos and Still captures showing the various stages throughout the year in the lives of the Eagles on the Pelican Harbor Nest on Santa Cruz Island. We have followed them through the Nestorations and then onto the Eggs/Incubation stage. So now we have finally reached the most exciting stage the Hatching of the Chick and its Early Development...... so this is where we will put the Chick and its Development stages ... because that leads us into the eaglet and its fledgling. Two eggs were laid at this nest. Unfortunately, one egg broke on March 27th. The other egg hatched on April 13th. As you know all these Videos/Stills and Screen Captures ... have been selected ... as their favorites ... by the members who have captured them on Nest Watch. You can see more videos and still pictures by visiting the Daily Observations thread. Also known as Nest Watch. Again we ask you not to post comments in this thread Viewing Only Please. This will enable faster viewing by Dr. Peter Sharpe and the IWS Team ... for record purposes ... and also for Members and visitors to the forum. Capturers are asked to wait until Cumbrian or EDblue (Eagle Duo) posts the first thread of each day before posting or reserving a space for your captures of the day to keep continuity to the archives.

April 13, 2012 Just before K-26 arrived the chick can be seen below K-10 ................................. The adults welcome their new chick ................................ ........ 6:17pm. K-10 brought a stick when he came to relieve K-26. Then he removed a lot of the shell from the bowl. .................. Congratulations K-10 and K-26.
