Advanced Member Group: Moderators Posts: 65,691 Member No.: 63 Joined: 7-June 06	All Eagles All The Time 2007/2008 is an Archival/History in Videos and Still captures showing the various stages throughout the year in the lives of the Eagles on the Pelican Harbor Nest on Santa Cruz Island. Season 2006/2007 was once again a successful one for this nest ... although 2 eggs were laid ... sadly one was lost ... but one did hatch and A-63 aka Limuw successfully fledged on June 28th 2007 ... however we were devastated to learn that Limuw was killed by a vehicle in Nevada on August 15th 2007. Even though this tragedy happened ... we are so grateful to have been able to watch this EagleCam and see his parents work as a team and we also had 4 very wonderful months watching Limuw hatch and then grow into a beautiful eaglet ... who we will always remember. So please check out the Class of 2007 and enjoy last season’s memories of ‘Nestorations to Fledging’. The adult eagles K-10 and K-26 are currently enjoying some R & R ... but before long we will see them once again at their nest ... bringing sticks and fluff ... to start the Restorations ... aka Nestorations by the A-49 Cruzers ... Last year they started in a wind storm in December and were in full nestoration mode by January ready for the eggs to be laid in early March. The Videos and Stills ... that will eventually be posted here on this thread ... have been selected ... as their favourites ... by the members who have captured them on Nest Watch. You can see more videos and still pictures ... at a later date ... by visiting the Daily Observations thread. Also known as Nest Watch We ask you NOT to post comments in this thread. First time we have seen the 2 of them together at the nest since July 9th (I think!) Well what do you think?.................................................. Need to start nestorations yet? Not sure ....................................................................Looks pretty nice over there. And over there too .......................... Let's start another day eh!................... I'm going fishing! Wait for me!

December 07, 2007 "I love you!" or maybe it was more like "put the stick over THERE!" Some looking around (maybe for good sticks) and away he goes only to return with MEGA - stick! 26 comes back to check on 10's progress - she's hiding on the other side of the nest! Dad takes a moment to do some preening after ALL that work .....

K-10 & K-26 .... were busy at their nest between 8:09am to 10:03am today. K-26 left around 8:46am .. but K-10 continued to bring sticks back to the nest. Beautiful fly-ins/outs .. see videos above. Discussion about the sticks?............................................... Admiring the view. Playing with sticks!........................................A Magnificent and Regal Eagle. Look at the perfect V at his wing tips Something gets his attention.......................................Away at 8:59am for more supplies. 9:04am........................................................................... 9:27am off he goes again. Back at 9:31am...............................................................9:43am Just passing the time at home!

December 07, 2007 8:20 am K10 returns to the nest with a big stick. He tries to arrange the stick but K26 isn't willing to move over. Some pecking back and forth occurs. 8:29 am Peek-a-Boo, I see you! K26 arrives at the nest by the back porch, peeks over the edge to watch K10 (notice just her head in the first picture), can't resist being in the middle of the action, and flies up to join him in the nest. K10's helicopter-style hovering landing at 8:36 am. 8:56 am K10 does a bit of preening and chilling out....... nice, bright yellow feet..... then he's off again. 9:31 am K10 is back with another stick, does some careful placement before leaving.
