Oh heck. Maybe I can catch up with some of you out of towners like the day before or after. It's my birthday for one thing but it's also the wedding of a friend in Riverside. I'm not sure yet if I will come back the day after or go down the day before. Shucks!!!! I hate missing the opportunity to see everybody. I'll be there in spirit though.

Vicki, my apologies, I shouldn't have assumed everyone knows where it is. It's in Ojai, CA, near Santa Barbara. It's about a 2 hr drive on 101N. I'll post additional information.

Sandie, we'll be at Eagle Central Sat and Sun nights. My bday is the 24th; we'll be on Catalina.

Cindy, can't keep a good man down! He retired from NPS in September, and started as a Ranger with Conejo Open Spaces in October. He loves it, and the job is just perfect for him....

not a silly question...I was actually thinking of posting something along those lines...

What I wanted to avoid was a burden on any one person, so don't feel obligated.
For sure, your basket should have your own goodies.

BUT knowing how many good cooks we have in the group, and since none of us turns down a yummy treat, you are more than welcome to bring something to share :Yum:

Bear and I will be bring cupcakes to celebrate my birthday with you all (and Sandie's ..if she makes it! and Regan's in spirit!)

Kathie, We don't have long sleeve shirts... but I'm bringing 4 of each size for those that show an interest. Plus, I have Cindy and Bear's separate from that group. If I need to, I can get more in the morning before I go into Ojai...

Vickie, yes it is a sad time.. but we are a pretty strong group.. Cindy and Bear just went through a much more personal loss and they are here to share with this new loss... so we will be fine tomorrow.. all of us.
