PEETIE--So sorry you are in so much pain..tendonitis is a miserable pain...especially in the shoulder. Are you taking cold packs to bed with you at night, it may not knock out the pain, but icy packs do quiet things down so you can sleep....but then bronchitis on top of everything else sure has sure made things worse for you. :Hugs:

I THOUGHT IT WAS ODD TOO, POSTING ON CHAT STOPPED IN LATE AFTERNOON UNTIL LATE LAST NIGHT....SPRING BREAK FEVER ....OR...... WE WERE ALL TALKED OUT FOR THE DAY.. :P

:D YEA, AND THE LATE AFTERNOON I'M OUT OF COMMISSION. NAP TIME, AND THEN DINNER TIME. I USUALLY DON'T POST MUCH IN THE EVENINGS. OKAY ONWARD, TO CHECK OUT THE NESTS THIS MORNING.

It is going to be a beautiful spring day here today. Great weather should last through the weekend! :**: I sure hope it does since DH and I are going camping/fishing this weekend. I normally don't like to go this early, but they are predicting great weather and I feel sorry for DH. Every trip he has planned so far this year has been cancelled - either due to weather or his buddy has backed out at the last minute. So I will need a hall pass for Friday - Sunday.

Karen that looks like a lovely restaurant. What are the jeyyfish made out of? Are they glass? Hard to tell because the :clk: 's are very small in the slideshow.

Am really getting nervous about the weather! :o We have a saying in our area
"April showers bring May flowers" And not supposed to plant until May 15 as
here can be frost up to then! May was always my FAVORITE time of the year
when all the flowers come out! Now it is 70 and The daffodils, forsythia,
Magnolia trees, and other white and pink blossoms are all out! S0 UN-NATURAL!
And the lovely spring flowers will be gone way before May!!!!!!!
Received the outfit I ordered in the mail for the wedding - TOO LARGE.
So prayers and mojo needed for tomorrow as a friend is going with me and
I am going to try and drive to a mall in Pa to check out Boscovs.
Have to go balance my check book

DH bought me this festive Spring planter at Costco yesterday.



It was really hard to choose because there were so many combinations and colours of metallic containers.. purple, fuschia, chartreuse and gold. I picked this one because the plants do not need full sun. I'll take another :clk: when the lily blooms open up :D

A 2-month old GHO fell from its nest this morning. The owlet is generally ok, but a little underfed so it will spend a week in rehab before being put back in the nest :)^

Quiet day so thought I'd stop by and catch up.
This little guy seemed appropriate to share since spring is officially here. We don't see him very often but when we do, it sure makes me smile.(not my pic)


Karen I thought of your finches when I looked for the warbler's pic. They are such sweet little birds.
I need to start learning what a baby finch looks like, and lots of others, as Bear and I start volunteering for Orphan Care at our local rehab facility very soon ( the group that had the baby shower.) I found a nice side by side chart comparing sparrows and finches...SO tiny! How can anything that little make it!? And the hummers..wow!

PENNY--Your Spring Floral Basket is sooooo Pretty!!!!! You will have many weeks of enjoyment and a real :D to start each and every day!

I am not sure what the JellyFish are made of at the restaurant,glass or a special plastic of some kind. yes, the photos on the album are kinda small, I had made photo size selection smaller on PB, so that when I post a picture here it is not so large. When I have some time, I will go back and enlarge the photos on the album, the decor would show up better larger.


CAT--Wishing you a fun time with DH fishing and camping..hope the weather is perfect , so that you are nice and comfy. DH will enjoy the time outdoors and with you there too. :ok:

DH just left to join his sailing buddies for the weekly Thursday afternoon Sailing Race... my DN (Dear Neighbor) is coming over in about an hour. She and I are going to watch the DVD, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA that DH surprised me with the other week. Believe it or not, she has never seen the PHANTOM before---I know she is in for a delightful surprise. :ok:

CAROL--There wasn't a photo of my Michael on Chat yesterday...unless he is a PHANTOM too. :lol:

Hi Cruzers,

I have a heavy heart today.

My dear aunt (one of my mother's 4 sisters) passed away yesterday. Very unexpected. She was found dead in her recliner by her daughter (my cousin) who lived with her. She was 66 years old. I am thinking it was probably a heart attack. She was very overweight and in ill health (ulcer, uncontrolled diabetes). She lived in Texas. I hadn't seen her in a very long time, but we emailed each other every now and then. I will miss her. I am very sad that my mom and aunts have lost their sister, that my two cousins have lost their mother, and the grandchildren have lost their grandmother. The one source of comfort for me is that my aunt was a very religious woman. Rest in peace Sue Finney. We lost you much too soon. :'(

EarthMuffin...I'm so sorry for your loss. Like Marsha said...Aunties are very special. I had one Auntie, actually, my grandmother's sister, but, our family "auntie", non the less. She passed away suddenly like your auntie. She married late in life and had no children. She was an elected official in a So. Cal city and was a member of seveal organizations so you can imagine the funeral...like a circus, according to her brother...I was 12 but remember the service went on and on and on. My thoughts are with you.
