As you know All Eagles All The Time 2010/2011 is an Archival/History in Videos and Still captures showing the various stages throughout the year in the lives of the Eagles on the Sauces Canyon Nest on Santa Cruz Island.
"Sauces" is not pronounced as in 'applesauce' but more like SOW-ces. It's Spanish for "willows"
Thanks to JanT for this information.
This nest just recently came online so we have only observed a short time of the Eggs/Incubation stage. But here we are at the most exciting stage the Hatching of the Chicks and their Early Development...... so this is where we will put the Chicks and their Development stages ... because that leads us into eaglets and fledglings.
As you know all these Videos/Stills and Screen Captures .. have been selected .. as their favourites ... by the members who have captured them on Nest Watch.

9:16 and 9:20am - A-27 had to wait around for A-40 to give up brooding
10:08-17am - An animation of the Mom and Eaglet's First Meal
4:23-27pm - Throughout the day A-40 seemed quite interested in the mechanics of the feeding process :) --
Here he brought a meal which A-27 claimed for distribution

Some type of alert has both eagles upset. Mom flew off leaving chick alone. She returned quickly followed by Dad.
More calling out and Mom flew off again, Dad is feeding the chick and things seem to have quieted down.

Trying to keep her balance in the wind takes a lot of work.

A27 continues to pluck for several minutes. The chick gets its first bite at 1:53pm
2:01pm - Something interrupts the feeding and A27 abruptly takes off.
She returns a minute later....but she doesn't resume feeding.
Things finally settle down around 3:30pm . . . . . . . . Chick takes time out for PS (notice the white line)
& A40 begins feeding the chick again
