The Lopez nest on Santa Rosa has their first chick as of yesterday. First known chick to hatch in 60 years on Rosa.

I'm very excited about this first chick for the Cueva Valdez pair/A00 & A16! We have enjoyed the IWS photos of this nest in our Updates.

"Today Helen confirmed that the Baby's nest egg hatched. The chick looked healthy and energetic! Photos and video will be posted on the Santa Cruz update by Wednesday."

Middle Ranch hatched a chick this afternoon. It is the first chick for this nest and the first time we've had chicks in 6 different nests.
