Joanie - September 9, 2006 04:03 PM (GMT)
Here's a 'Cruzerism' that seems to have been left out of the Cruzinary ....
Sorry I don't know who is the uncredited first of the posters to use it but it has become part of our forum-speak:
"NESTORATION" = what we are all looking forward to come December/January when K-10 and K-26 begin their re-model in anticipation of a new clutch!
Joanie - September 10, 2006 10:04 PM (GMT)
NESTFUL THINKING.... as in we want soooooo much to see activity in the nest that our eyes and minds play tricks on us and we see eagles and other visitors that aren't really there.
MASS NESTERIA occurs when chronic Nestful Thinking causes 2 or more forum members to simultaneously see the same illusion/mirage sometimes making claims that they see pinecones wearing 'wing-blings' while preening.
Ongoing studies are continuing to determine whether on not these psycho-social events are more prevalent when Cruzers are in a State of 'Inner Peace'.... any volunteers?
Cumbrian - September 11, 2006 03:46 AM (GMT)
Triangling Down what the Triangles do at the nest.

This might have been mentioned somewhere in here before - probably has since this is coming from the least creative poster (me - I don't even have an avatar yet)....anyway, I've always liked " XX is in the nest", as in "IWS Crew is in the nest" or "Dr. Sharpe is in the nest" - meaning they are logged into the forum. :)
ElaineRuth - September 14, 2006 02:49 AM (GMT)

Thank's Carol Ann, I've always liked that one too. I think (but am not 100% sure) it was Hulabird who first said it?
I've also always enjoyed Hulabird calling us peeps. I steal that one from her every now and then.
Elaine, love IMAGINESTIONS
