As you know All Eagles All The Time 2007/2008 is an Archival/History in Videos and Still captures showing the various stages throughout the year in the lives of the Eagles on the Two Harbors Nest on Catalina Island.
We have followed them through the Nestorations and then onto the Eggs/Incubation stage and now we have finally reached the most exciting stage the Hatching of the Chicks and their Early Development...... so this is where we will put the Chicks and their Development stages ... because that leads us into eaglets and fledglings.
Unfortunately one of the TH eggs was lost. But on April 2/08 the remaining egg hatched in the Incubation Unit at the IWS Facilities and the chick was taken care of there until fostering day on Tuesday, April 8/08
As you know all these Videos and Stills have been selected .. as their favourites ... by the members who have captured them on Nest Watch.

Again we ask you not to post comments in this thread Viewing Only Please. This will enable faster viewing by Dr. Peter Sharpe and the IWS Team ... for record purposes ... and also for Members and visitors to the forum.
We do however welcome comments, about any of the eagles, or the different stages, in the Daily Nest Watch or Chat threads. Thank You.

Dr. Sharpe puts the chick into the nest to begin its life as a wild eagle.
Dr. Sharpe takes photos of the eaglet looking around at its new surroundings.
Mom K82 returns with a puzzled look on her face. She sits beside the eaglet.
She seems to be looking in the nest for the second egg or eaglet.
K81 meets his chick for the first time. "Hi, I'm your Dad!"
The eaglet does not cooperate very well when Dad tries to brood it - very wiggly.

Today is a special day for K-81 and K-82 ... Remember their two eggs that were removed and taken to the IWS facilities to be hatched ...
Only one egg hatched and this is the chick that is coming home ... special delivery by Eagle Guy and eaglegal.

Collect the eggs (fake after all) - retrieve the chicklet!

Mom is the same as K-26 is on PH ... all hot and bothered ...trying to find a coolish area on the nest.
3:10pm Mom gave the chick a good feed here ... as well as shading him/her whilst being fed.
5:19pm Dad brought dinner home. Mom arrives too. She took it from dad and was certainly enjoying it!
Chick watches closely....................................... Mom has left so dad and the :^: share what is left.
