All Eagles All The Time 2007/2008 is an Archival/History in Videos and Still captures showing the various stages throughout the year in the lives of the Eagles on the West End Nest on Catalina Island
Season 2006/2007 was a very successful one for this nest ... 5 eggs laid ... 3 successfully hatched at the IWS facilities and the Triplets fostered back into the nest and all three successfully fledged in June 2007.
Please check out the Class of 2007 to enjoy last season’s memories of ‘Nestorations to Fledging’.
The adult eagles .. Dianna, Wray and 01 .. are currently enjoying some R & R ... but before long we will see them once again at the nest ... bringing sticks and hopefully lots of fluff to cover that rock ... on the left side of the nest ... that was exposed probably through the triplets’ wingersizes! Their Restoration of their nest ... aka Nestorations by the A-49 Cruzers ... could start late October or early November ... but most likely they will commence in January as happened this past season. The eagles visited more regularly and brought in more supplies getting ready for the eggs that were laid in February.
The Videos and Stills .. that will eventually be posted here on this thread .. have been selected ... as their favourites ... by the members who have captured them on Nest Watch.

When the camera came on this morning, Dianna
and Wray were side by side looking over the back
of the nest. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . All of a sudden, Wray flies down the back of the nest.
....and returns a few minutes later with a stick.
Dianna leaves, Wray looks around a bit, preens a bit, and finally leaves also.
Wray returns and begins doing some nestorations....
01 arrives w/a stick.....they do-ci-do around it & he leaves -
Wray leaves soon afterwards. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 01 returns; is standing there & all of a sudden...
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . And stops & just stands there again.
Dianna returns, followed shortly afterwards by Wray who began doing some nestkeeping. Dianna soon joined in helping.

Dianna leaves soon afterwards, leaving Wray alone on the nest.

The WE nest camera has been out of action for a few weeks ... so it is good to see it back up again .. and also to see all 3 eagles at the nest today. They didn't do any nestorations, but you can see a difference in the nest. Compare today to December /07.
01 arrived this afternoon for a short visit.
He was also the first to arrive later................................................................. Then Dianna drops in

Wray paid a visit to the nest from 9:34 to 9:57am
She didn't do much - I think she was just hanging out
The feed froze for 5 seconds, and that's when she poofed!

Dr Sharpe and Steff have continued to work on the web cameras both on Catalina and on the mainland. They finished setting up the tower at the West End. This nest will have sound this season!

They are doing some adjustments on the nest but I was able to capture this.
Another eagle has arrived.

Loved the way Wray flew off the nest at the rear .... couldn't decide if that was her that flew past shortly afterwards or another member of the family going after her.
