HI Jill thanks for the info. I had done that already (click on the picture) and it said I couldn't do that!!! But if you know of another way I'm happy to try that!

It's very still here today not a leaf or branch moving. But it is HOT!!
:P :<:: As soon as I said that I looked outside and the wind started to blow slightly.

I can't remember in recent past getting to two pages here on chat. We did that yesterday :ok:

Carol I don't remember when/who told me this....we will never lose chat despite what you may think. So relax we will "all" be here for you. So nice you were able to complete the pictures for the church project. I know they must appreciate it enormously. Are you worried about driving to the dr yourself? I'm sure someone at church or birder friends would be happy to take you there! I would hope even your daughter  !!!

So I am probably just going to hang out here today. Nothing pressing or important. If I feel good enough I may go to Green Thumb and get some potting soil for Rudy to replant some of my orchids and the other plants around.

Good morning Jill and Sandie.
Thanks for the info on the island fox photo Jill.
Sandie: I keep forgetting to ask how you like your new washer?
The condor chick in the Los Padres forest is getting so big and really flapping those wings. The other day she was actually jumping up also. I think she sees other birds flying and wants to join them, but I don't think she's quite ready yet. :X: she survives and doesn't fall. The previous two seasons were not good.
This afternoon we're going to look at two more pools trying to decide on a color since ours badly needs refinishing.

Good Friday Afternoon Chat Friends.

Hi Jill, Sandie, and Kathie. :}^

It is hot today. This morning, I drove up to Escondido, to have lunch with Allison. I also stopped at a quilting shop and bought a few things. Going in and out of the heat is tiring. Looking forward to a quiet evening at home.

Sarah, has sent more pictures. They are in Italy, now. I wish I could post a couple here. Maybe if I get a hold of Jill. :X:

Going to go take a nap soon.

Yeah, Sandie, good question, how do you like your new washer?

sandie - October 7, 2017 12:18 AM (GMT)
Thanks for asking. The new washer is fine. It certainly washes the clothes cleaner than the previous one. However it is still way too deep of a tub for me! I can't reach the bottom of it. I can barely get the clothes out. I genuinely love the steam feature. I think that one feature alone gets the clothes cleaner!

I was looking for coconut flour online. I finally found some at Target. I was going to order it from Walmart online but it was going to cost a lot more than going down to the local store! Glad I called around. Since Akeelah has such a sensitive tummy I can' t use regular flour. I wanted to make these cookies I found but it called for wheat (allergic) flour. One of the Coton mommies makes them with Coconut flour.....who knew!!! It's much more healthy non GMO and no grain. The things I do for this dog. LOL. I never did this much for my human kids :<::

I'm looking for a good recipe for Zucchini bread. I entered my recipe in the fair a couple of years ago....won blue ribbon....but they insisted on keeping the recipe on the only paper I had of it. They lost it :8O: :hair:

Yeah Sandie, who knew about that coconut flour. They have flour made from just about anything, these days.

I remember about 25 years ago, Mike was still pretty young, DH's Brazilian friend came to stay with us. Well, he's become my dear friend, too. Anyway, Rob was an excellent cook, and he wanted coconut oil, for a chicken recipe. We could not find the stuff. Now, it's everywhere, probably even at the local 711. rofl rofl

Hi Carol. :}^ You are so right, you can still order pizza. rofl

I can't believe how quiet this house is without Sarah. It just makes me think about all of the people who have died this past week, from the shootings. Also, all of the people who lost their homes/lives from the hurricanes and earthquake. I can't express how grateful I am for my blessings. <3 <3

Have a nice evening everybody.
