As You know All Eagles All The Time 2007 is an Archival/History in Videos and Still captures showing the various stages throughout the year in the lives of the Eagles on the Santa Cruz Nest.. .... Two Harbors Nest.. ... and the West End Nest.
2007 is proving to be another historic year especially for the eagles at the Pinnacle Rock and the Seal Rocks Nests too.
This year the IWS decided to leave the eggs at both of these nests to see if they hatched. We are delighted that there are now 2 healthy chicks in each nest. These are the first chicks to hatch naturally, on Catalina Island, without human assistance, since 1945.
It seems fitting therefore that we should include both of these nests, together with the Twin Rocks Eagle’s Nest, which also had their eggs removed, hatched at the IWS facilities and returned to them, just like the West End and Two Harbors nests, for Archival purposes and therefore this thread has been opened.
We will be posting the links to the Catalina Updates, written by Dr. Peter Sharpe, Dave Garcelon and Steffani Jijon ... along with the photos taken by Steffani ... so that members can easily access them.
