One of the organisers has asked me if there would be interest for a bit of a display at the static show.

There are always plenty of Scoobies and Evo's and it would be nice to see a line of Fords as well.

I'll be there, I'm usually with the Scoobyireland ones but I sold the Scoob now.
So whether or not anyone else sticks their name down I'll still be there in the RS

Anyone interested we are to be there for 9:30 if at all possible. I should be getting passes to print so you don't have to pay to enter the car although you will have to pay into the rally itself.

According to Darren Cassells who is on the NAMCC organising committee 9:30! No harm being there from 9 though!

First stage starts at 10:30

What are the stages like up there Colin? Would I get a spot to take a few nice photos or would I be blocked out by the crowds? Thinking of heading up to it, not sure at the moment!

Paddy to be honest because it gets really big crowds and a lot of folk and families and children who will not be at another motorsport event all year it is probably a little heavy on the health and safety front compared to other rallys (no bad thing considering the crowd) so unless you have a good lens you will struggle to get close (i only have a 200mm lens and its just about ok).

If you are a bit more creative on where to stand you can get some good shots and it is an all day event so plenty of scope to get different viewpoints throughout the day. If you are coming let me know and we can say hello and I can point out a few spots I usually try for 1/2 decent shots.

Ya I saw the shots before Colin and you've got a few fairly good ones at it. I'm considering going at the moment, I'm not too far away these days, I'm in Dublin, but there's also study to be done so I'll probably have to give it a miss! I'll let you know if I'm going though
