All is going to plan route checked, Parades Commission done and dusted, breakfast baps sorted, lunch sorted, weather looking...... well who the feck knows! There is a new starting place this year at the Outlet Banbridge which is on the main A1 Belfast Dublin Road at Banbridge. There are no petrol stations at the Outlet. As last year we will be taking the opportunity to raise a few quid for Amy's Creche, Rachels' Place in South Africa again. It is a simple charity and every penny you donate will actually make it to the Charity Work. As such there will be £10 charge for each car / driver which will include a voucher for the breakfast bap (sausage or bacon bap and cup of tea or coffee). We have to do it this way as you can't just buy because the Sunday Trading Laws mean they aren't allowed to take money before 1:00pm!!! If any passengers want the breakfast they can get a voucher for it for £4. The gates open and Jimmy and I hope to be there from 9:30am. The RS Show will be setting up and getting ready between then and 1:00pm when the shops actually open and their show formally begins. MAKE SURE YOU PARK WITH THE IRISH ESCORT CLUB AND NOT IN THE RS SHOW AS YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED OUT ON THE RUN! We will be leaving to go on the run between 1:30 - 1:45pm and finishing up in Newry @ 6 in the evening. Looking forward to it  |
