 Twin Webbers, air fuel mix?

lads having a bit of trouble with a mk 2 bda with twin webbers. she revs fine when in neutral, but when in gear if you floor her she dies down in power and gradually gains it back i think its the air fuel mix but not 100% sure. any ideas on how to sort it?
