our track is now fully tarred and were racing every 2nd sunday.
im organising a car show for sometime in july/august on a off sunday were not racing
id like to get a date that doesnt collide with any other shows/runs as id like as many old skool fords as possible as the show will be based on cars 25+year old cars :mk2:
the track is a 1/4 mile oval so anyone wanting to do a spot of drifting burnouts etc will be let out on the track.
we have a shop with hot food there too so we can make a very good day out of it.

im delighted to say that oldskooler is gonna help out and put on a show for us and help us promote the track and with his help i can make this 1 of the biggest classic car shows of the summer im gonna finalise a date over the next week and make this official!

shame that some of the main lads on the sites who have opinions on every other tread dont want to help out it seems to be a thing of who you know :cry: so much of being a escort community!

paddyanglia ran a couple of similar events down in rosegreen a few years back which were great craic with a great variety of oldskool motors.

of course when the restrictions were put on the track it came to an end before it could take off.

Cant find anything with Escorts being used but here are Capris taking a few shots and still going. RWD Escorts are not allowed in banger racing cos they are just too good :rofl:

Track looks good Andy, it reminds me of Santry Raceway in the late 80s early 90s.
