Ahh, the McEvans, a southern family straight from Mississippi of French and Irish stock. Snooty, rich, and oh so decadent, they are the self proclaimed 'royalty' of Buffalo Creek.

Mother dearest, an heiress with a French background, she met _____ through a governess that they shared as teenagers and after that it was like a rich, opportunistic, romance. Lately, however, Mr. McEvans has been working late nights and has barely enough time for his devoted wife, and well we all know what happens when a man can't keep tabs on his woman for too long, if you get my drift. The middle daughter has given her hell on her wanting to be a school teacher, while the rest of family just wants her to get married, already.
