ELI MITCHELL TWENTYSIX DISTILLER MOODY BOYD HOLBROOK

So, this is Eli. He's a paranoid distiller of whiskey who likes to hide out in the forest. He sincerely believes that he has been cursed, though he's just had some rotten luck throughout his life. He can have a hot temper and will fly off the handle at the slightest provocation. He isn't particularly mean, though. He's usually more indifferent than anything. His attitude changes completely when he's drunk, though, as oft will happen to a gentleman where alcohol is involved. He'll laugh at anything when he's drunk. FRIENDS: Eli usually makes friends only to avoid drawing suspicion to himself. Plus people who like you are more likely to buy your whiskey than people who don't like you. Also, he really would go crazy without human contact. He really does need at least one somewhat-to-very close friend, though, despite the fact that he won't admit it. He just needs to be reminded every now and again that he isn't cursed and isn't all bad. And he needs someone who'll take his alcohol away from him when he's had too much. Otherwise he'll just drink himself to death without realizing it. LOVERS: One night stands are generally his rule of thumb, generally as distractions more than anything. These are very rare, though, and tend to occur only when he's been drinking. Steady relationships are discouraged because of the 'curse'. Not to mention he really did love his first wife and he'd feel terrible if he fell in love with another woman. (Wife #2 doesn't count.) If he does end up in a serious relationship, he'll need a woman who he can depend upon to keep him on the right track, not unlike what I mentioned above in the 'friends' section. ENEMIES: Everyone has the possibility of becoming Eli's enemy, though lawmen are generally exempt until/unless they start chasing him. He tries to stay on their good side as often as possible. After that they become an arch-nemesis. Other than that, people just tend to annoy him most of the time.

Cynthia here is living with her Uncle, who is a big fan of his alcohol. So perhaps her uncle sent her out to attain some from Eli since he's too drunk to get it himself? Maybe strike up a just-business relationship. Not sure if they'll get anywhere past that, what do you think?

We can start out with a business relationship and see how things go from there if you like! Though Eli will try his hardest to keep things strictly business, he might be able to form a loose friendship. I guess we'll have to see how well they like each other before deciding on whether or not to go farther than that.
