Roleplaying start date: 2002

Inspiration for writing: Well personally I've always been a very avid movie buff (the whole reason I'm getting into special effects for movies in the first place) so I'd say I get a lot of my western-genre inspiration from watching movies. Some of my favorites would have to be Tombstone, Comanche Moon, Cowboys and Aliens, and all the wonderful classics with Clint Eastwood. Actually what made me search for a western genre site was my fascination and utter love for the old 1950's tv show Bonanza.

But besides that I draw a lot of inspiration and muse for my characters especially from music. If I need to write a thread with a certain sort of mood or atmosphere I put on music that would fit there and just let it influence the way I write. Artists that are always good muse-summoners for me is Mumford & Sons and Murder by Death. Also the OST from Red Dead Redemption is a great collection of pieces.

Hobbies: Well the most obvious one would be writing, of course. Then I'd have to say drawing and designing. I'm kind attending school for that sort of stuff so I've been known to spend just countless hours messing around on CS5 with my tablet, hacking away at a new idea in my head. I'm also quite an avid gamer. My specialization was originally game design because I just adore playing video games and immersing myself into that storyline and the characters. Probably why I also love going to the movies so much. I've seen a lot of movies and I'm actually more into older movies than newer movies. I have a weird thing for older actors and finding them incredibly attractive. (*cough*Val Kilmer*cough*) I also just enjoying sitting outside with friends and just talking. I love talking, as many of you can and will probably realize in the cbox. c: And as stupid as it sounds, I also just love coding things. CSS, HTML, all that shiz and beyond. I'm actually a webmaster for my fraternity at OU so I'm just kinda into that shit alllll the time. I'm aslo a musician so sometimes I just break out my saxophone and chill around the house with some smooth jazz once and in a while. When I had the time (and the money) I used to work on a farm and would work with the horses. I absolutely ADORE trail blazing in the woods with a calm horse, it's just completely and utterly relaxing. The horse I used to ride was named Buckshot, he was an Appendix paint and kinda where I got the idea for Danny's horse Buck. ^^

Likes: Thunder storms, when they aren't threatening to kill me and/or knocking my power out for days on end. Listening to music, which I do near constantly. Drinking and hanging out with my friends. Hi, my name is Anah, and I like to party. I like reading up on old western history and civil war era history. I like talking in cbox with my fellow BCB members and just causing a general mess of randomness and nonsense. I like staying up late and watching scary tv shows and just generally freaking out. I like cuddling too, I could do that forever, yo. Going to the movies with friends is always a good time, just the same as getting drunk and watching scary movies on Netflix. Playing video games, listening to music, blah, blah blah. Plotting. I love plotting with all sorts of character so def hit me up there. I love any and all sorts of teas. I'm kinda tea addict. I'm a poster junkie and my room is nearly covered in them. Supernatual is essentially my heroine with Jensen Ackles as my needle. I love learning about new myths, fables, tales, stories, and anything else paranormal related. I like using photoshop and doing photo manips and things of that nature. I also freaking LOVE doing graphics so if you need an icon and sig you hit me up. c:

Dislikes: The sound of stepping on fresh snow, something about that crunchy/squishy sounds just drives me absolutely INSANE. I really don't like people who give themselves more credit than they deserve. I have no respect for self-entitled douchebags, then again, I don't think anyone does. lol. I hate mornings and the sun during morning hours. I don't like cats all that much, expect for my grandma's cat, Lucky. F*ck homework. Guh. I don't like winter or summer all that much because of the extremes in temperature, I'd much rather prefer autumn or spring. Facebook drama is ridiculous. When I work really hard on a code and check to see if it works and it DOESN'T- that sucks. When people are blatantly disrespectful to my family and friends I get extremely defensie and angry. Ignorant opinions really bother me too. If you don't know the facts on a topic, then leave it be. People who are just constantly negative are a pain too. And people who just want to get sympathy for their problems and whine constantly is also a pain in the butt.

Favorite band/musician: Murder by Death, my favorite song by them having to be Good Morning, Magpie.

Favorite movie: Shawshank Redemption. I legit sat down and watched this movie for an entire day. In my entire life there have only been two movies I can do that to and that's Shawnshank Redemption and Open Range which I both just adore.

Favorite TV show: Supernatural. All. The Way.

Favorite book:The Transall Saga by Gary Paulson. I read this book when I was a lot younger but I still remember it really clearly and I just love it.

Favorite character & why?Henry Scarborough played by Heck.
He's a genuine dynamic character with so much development it is truly difficult not to love him. His intentions are usually good though he does tend to muck up things a lot he at least, sort of tries to make amends by them though he hardly ever takes responsibility. He's a lovable guy and I am just so honored that my own Danny Helm gets to be his best friend. c:

I really am a whole lot nicer than I may have made myself out to be in this little thingy. There are few people in this world that I don't get along with and those people are usually folks that have somehow appeared in the above dislike section of this little applet. xD So feel free to contact me about any characters and plot ideas you might have. I am really open minded about that kind of stuff and I just love throw drama around my character's lives too.

The people on here are like family to me too so if you ever need someone to talk to I'm always open ears. Heck is legit my best fran ever too. Just sayin'. c: She is a wonderful person and you should love her. Just do it. Because I said so. Her, Vic and I are practically inseparable and when paired with the wonderful Kate, it's just lewd conversation after conversation followed by sexual innuendoes that usually chase off any new members. lol.

When I'm at school I can get really bogged down easily being in 20+ credit hours and having band (If you don't know who the Marching 110 is then I suggest you go to YT and look it up now, you'll thank me later), so don't be surprised if I get slower at replying during that time. But I really try my best to stay on top of things so no worries. I think that's it for now...until I come up with more stuff to post about myself. lol.

Roleplaying start date: November, 2010

Inspiration for writing: I draw a lot of my inspiration from other’s writings, I will reread old threads and get into the mood to write but often what influences my plot ideas and what not is music and movies especially, and television shows. Pictures of my characters help as well, I see a scene or happy face and make up my own story for why that character may be happy in that situation. Most of Davion’s threads are named after his “character band” Metallica and many of Henry’s are inspired by Alice in Chains and sometimes Sarah McLachlan. I also love the Red Dead Redemption soundtrack and the track for The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. As for movies, well for instance Henry’s life in New York as a hellraiser was inspired by the character Jim Carroll, portrayed by a very young Leonardo DiCaprio, in The Basketball Diaries and a few things were even drawn from the film Gangs of New York, also a DiCaprio flick. Davion, Mary and Sam pretty much act almost exactly like their characters from the movies/tv shows I get their pictures from. Mary as The Lady from The Quick and the Dead, Davion as Raylan Givens from Justified and Sam as Al Swearengen from HBO’s Deadwood. But I also gather inspiration from myself and my own life experiences, Rusty is my comical silly side and Henry acts quite a bit like myself, or rather is a kind of me that I wish I could be. He is rather child-like and tries to act his age but most of the time just says screw it and flings a handful of horse shit at someone.

Hobbies: Obviously writing, I may be addicted as I forego food, the toilet, homework and even skip class on occasion to RP. Drawing is also a big deal for me since I am going to school to become an artist. My program of choice is Corel Painter and I usually paint horses, landscapes and portraits in a photorealistic style and I love painting in greyscale. I also have recently picked up guitar, I can make it sound pretty but not too organized and my stroke patterns suck but for only playing for a month or so I think I am making good progress. My instrument is an acoustic Epiphone I picked up at Guitar Center for just a hundred bucks, I never fail to wack my knee with it though and everytime I go “AGH you little bastard!" so now I have inadvertently named it Little Bastard. I also like to drive, just get in the car and cruise some pretty back country roads jamming to my favorite tunes where I picked up another hobby, photography. Despite having such an insignificant camera I have snapped photos that have won a few awards in photo contests.

Likes: I have an unhealthy obsession with certain foods, like it’s almost a fetish I’m serious. A double bacon cheeseburger, medium well, with a fried egg, blue cheese, avocado, lettuce and mayo … oh my. Anyways, I also rock the cowboy gear, this started happening about the time I started watching Supernatural, I decided I wanted to wear leather, and then I started watching Justified and figured I might as well get the boots, belts and hat too. My boots are usually Ariat or Durango, my hat is Barma made from Australian bull leather. It’s expensive but I love it. I listen to music all day, every day. At the computer, if I have to get up I disconnect my iPod and take it with me, in the car, anywhere. I feel like I would probably forget to breathe without it. I love movies but hardly go out anymore so bleh. Shoes, it’s the first thing I look at on a man, and may I add Kiefer Sutherland always wears the coolest shoes … Ehem, cookies, I love them so much, with a glass of milk, homg and brownies, fudge ones with nuts, and fried chicken, and yams, and okra. I also stuff half my dinner into a roll or biscuit if I can, my favorite filling is sweet peas, mashed potatoes and chicken.

Dislikes: Scented pine cones >_> they are the devil. People that complain about shit other people do when they themselves were just freakin doing it, what the hell? Some of today’s music, it sucks ass and I can’t figure out how in the hell it gets on the radio. Today’s country, to me is not country, I used to love it but now it’s like pop-country and sounds like shit in my opinion, completely bastardized the genre for me. Rascal Flatts’ voice. The exploitation of tragedy by the media, celebrity worship and how they get hounded by the paparazzi, bad writers, bad drivers, the Twilight craze, glitter is the spawn of Satan, god-like characters that get away with EVERYTHING, people who feel it is necessary to say "f*ck" every other word in a sentence, people who give me shit for owning a pitbull, and PETA.

Favorite band/musician: Led Zeppelin is my all-time favorite band with Queen a close second. Trampled Underfoot and Stairway to Heaven are my favorite Zeppelin songs and March of the Black Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody and Who Wants to Live Forever are my favorite Queen songs.

Favorite song: Over the course of four days I have listened to Usher’s Scream 48 times, insanity. But my favorite song is Trampled Underfoot by Zeppelin but Hotel California by the Eagles is freakin awesome too.

Favorite movie: The Departed, I swear I don’t like Leo as much as it seems, Open Range and Tombstone, and I could watch Forrest Gump all day.

Favorite TV show: By far my favorite tv show ever is 24, starring Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer. Supernatural is a good show and I love that Anah turned me onto it. Justified is another I follow very closely, Olyphant’s character, Raylan Givens is so badass and has inspired me to read the books/stories the show was based off of. I think my favorite character on Justified would have to be the ever complex and surprisingly charismatic Boyd Crowder, played by Walton Goggins of The Shield.

Favorite book: Anything by Jack London I absolutely love his style of writing, it’s so vivid and descriptive, really puts me in the scene until I have to reference a dictionary, the man has an impressive vocabulary. The Call of the Wild was my favorite novel by him. I also really like the dark tales of Edgar Allen Poe.

Favorite character & why?

Mister Hellfire aka Daniel Helm. I know no man that is anything like him when it comes to his friendships toward others. No matter how many times Henry Scarborough has shit on the man he has forgiven him and would probably take a bullet for the man. Righteous does not even begin to describe the guy but he is also humble, loyal, loving, forgiving, honest and simply honorable to the point that anyone is proud call themselves his friend. The power he has on the town is laughable, if Danny don’t like someone it can be guaranteed the Scarborough’s and Murphy’s don’t either, if they don’t like the guy someone else doesn’t either and the chain reaction continues until the poor fella is loathed vehemently. Under his tough exterior, Danny Helm is understanding, sweet natured, nurturing and caring. After having influenced Henry’s life so much the banker named his son after his best friend, Daniel Robert Scarborough

I must say I have never been a part of a site for so long, so long in fact I am on the Council of Senior Writers and I also help moderate the place, keep it clean and tidy and offer advice to guests and new members. I am friendly and personable and if I am not around ask my friends Anah, Vic, Seph or Kate for help as they are also very friendly. I have never had such a friendship with members of a site like I have here, to the point that we share phone numbers and Facebook friend one another. When Anah logs in I about piss myself I get so excited to see that little blue icon. Vic is almost always around and we have burned the midnight oil many times just chatting in character in the c-box. We are always here for each other and can honestly say I consider the other members here my friends even if we have never met in person.

A tidbit about me, I was born in Pike County, Kentucky where my mother’s side of the family has lived for several generations. Pikeville may sound familiar if you have ever studied or watched the short special on the History channel about the famous, or perhaps infamous, Hatfield McCoy feud. Most of the trials regarding the feud took place in the Pike County Courthouse. My family is actually still pretty chummy with the Hatfield’s, not so much the McCoy’s since they were on the other side of Big Sandy, so yeah they have been there at least that long. When I was thirteen I stole my dad’s car to impress my friends and my parents decided to leave the state much to my dismay. We moved to Cullowhee, NC home of Western Carolina University and I had high hopes of attending the school later but alas we moved again. We stayed in a rental in Danville, Virginia for a few months before moving to Siler City in Chatham County, North Carolina where my father’s family has resided for a long ass time too. We didn’t stay there very long either and soon moved to Alamance County where I attended High School and am now attending College. I hope to at some point get my motorcycle license, my step-dad has promised to buy me a bike for a graduation gift if I do really well in school. So yeah I’m not your typical little girl, I am the first girl born in my family (this generation) all my cousins are boys and I have three brothers. But hey I got a free car out of the deal, I am so spoiled, being the only girl is awesome. Doesn’t keep me from wearing my biker jacket, bullet boot straps, and carrying a knife. I also deer hunt and own two guns at the moment, a .243 bolt-action Savage rifle and a 12-gauge single shot break-action Brazilian-made shotgun. I can skin a deer in about eight minutes, blood does not scare me. Not much scares me actually, my vivid imagination freaks me out a lot though, especially in the dark. I've always had this imagination growing up that I was always using to make something up, whether it be a game or some child-drawing of a random character I thought of. My imagination needed to be let out somehow, and I found it was best used when I roleplayed

Hobbies:Dance, enjoy my nerdom, sing, draw, marching band. Marching band, best thing ever. I may be just a freshman, but I love it so much. Everyone is friendly and helpful and we're like a huge family.

Likes: Well I love to roleplay, obviously. But I'm big on listening to the band Paramore. Their music is probably the most easy to relate to for me. I really like to discuss things on my mind and talk about certain issues plaguing the world at the moment, I pretty much dont' shy away from anything. Also..I flipping love snakes, most adorable reptile EVER.

Let's see..I'll talk personal. I was born to a single mother, I got my GOOD daddy when I was three and things just got better from there pretty much. I have two younger half-brothers, Karsen, 4, and Hayden, 1, who are practically the apples of my eyes. I'd do anything for them. I lived in Mercer County, Ohio until I was four and now live in Darke County, Ohio. I go to Marion Local High School where I keep it cool with my group of seven best gal friends. I play tenor trombone in our high school marching band, which got three superior ratings last year including the state title. We have a Girls Basketball championship under our belt form 2011, three volleyball championships, and three football championships. My school is pretty athletic more than anything. We don't pay much attention to the Fine Arts all too much. But whad'ya gonna do?

Roleplaying start date:Freshman year of high school so 2006-ish... God I feel old.

Inspiration for writing:Well, I didn’t really start writing a whole lot until my freshman year of high school. I wrote a story or two in middle school just for fun, but if you read them it would be painfully obvious that a twelve year old had written them. I’ve always been an avid reader, though. I always have a book on me, even back then. My freshman year of high school, I had a wonderful English teacher. He had us writing constantly and he was very good with supporting students. My writing improved throughout the year and I took a huge liking to it. I also draw a lot of inspiration from music. Eli was entirely written around a song.

Hobbies: I’ve been playing flute since I was twelve and I’m in my school’s wind ensemble. I was in marching band in high school, as well. Loved it! Like I said before, I read a lot. My favorite genre is fantasy, but I also enjoy sci-fi, historical fiction, and I’ve been getting into horror lately. I also love Victorian literature. Oscar Wilde and H.G. Wells are two of my favorite writers. Living in the Blue Ridge Mountains, I do a lot of hiking, particularly on the Appalachian Trail and occasionally on the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are a ton of other places to hike around here, but the A.T. is the prettiest. I love camping, though I haven’t been able to go in a while. I’m also a professional crafter of s’mores.

Likes: CHOCOLATE! I’m a huge chocoholic. I was the one offering everyone chocolate at 2 AM on a band trip once. I enjoy being cynical when my friends drag me to see a romance movie, particularly if it’s Twilight, just to annoy them. I love the color green and earthy tones in general. I love museums of any kind, though history museums are my favorite. I enjoy people in general. People of all kinds fascinate me. If I wasn’t majoring in history, I’d probably be a Psych major. For a time, I was considering archaeology because it is just incredible how much you can find out about ‘little people’ from the past just by digging through their garbage hole. The big, well-known people are swell, but they couldn’t have done what they did without the help of the no-names. I’m particularly fond of the early- to mid-1900s, but there really isn’t an era I don’t enjoy hearing/learning about. I love dogs, especially Newfoundlands. I also enjoy debating with people. Gives the brain a good workout.

Dislikes: Clowns. They’re scary as fuck. End of discussion. I hate bugs and crawly things in general, but grasshoppers are the worst. I hate when people get road rage while they’re driving. I worry about them. I hate Glee, but it’s really only because my sister talks about it constantly. I literally can’t go a day without hearing about it. Economics, math, and politics. Large tracts of flat land and open water. Both just tend to freak me out a bit.

Inspiration for writing: Writing is really a creative release for me, I need some way to express myself beyond screaming at people so this is it. I've been addicted to pen and paper - and now the keyboard, I suppose - since I was a little girl writing little drabbles about dogs.

Hobbies: WELL, obviously writing and RPing, it's just fun to bounce around ideas with other people and create something great between two characters. I also love languages, my family is Italian so I am fluent in the language, in addition to English (obviously) and Spanish. I am in the process of learning German, been studying it for about a year and a half now. I love to sing as well, and travel, and EAT, holy mother of God do I love food.

Likes: I am completely obsessed with a TV show called 'Castle' on ABC, if you haven't seen it, then your life sucks. The leading lady on said show is Stana Katic, who also happens to be Jeanine's PB, and my super ultra lesbo crush. Hmm...I also love movies, and books, and music. But who doesn't? And languages, I mentioned that...and FOOD, duh. And I really like men. Especially Hispanic ones. Bring on the tan Latin lovers, mrrrrow!

Dislikes: I hate Mit Romney, aka Shit Robney. I DESPISE when people touch my wrists, it freaks me out. Uh...Justin Bieber is a n00b, Carly Rae Jepsen is annoying as fuck, birds should all die and centipedes/millipedes are literally my greatest fear. I am beyond terrified of them. I can't stand being told what to do and the sound of babies crying makes me want to rip my hair out.

Favorite band/musician: I love Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, Colbie Caillat, John Legend, Demi Lovato, Katy Perry and Christina Aguilera.

Roleplaying start date: Hmmm... 2008?

Inspiration for writing: Wellllllll... as a child I had a crazy imagination and just loved to read. When school started, I hated the books that the teacher gave us so I always made up my own endings and I guess one thing led to another. Writing is one way that I know to escape everything and just become someone new and exciting. Don't get me wrong, I love my life, but its always fun to have a place to go where you get to call the shots and ensure a happy ending.

Hobbies: The obvious is read and write, but when I say I love to read, I mean I LOVE to read. I own over 300 of my own books and have multiple bookshelves and goodness... my parents don't know what to do. I am easy to find gifts for though! Other than that I am a total drama nerd and do both musicals and stage plays. I am super focused on school, play varsity volleyball, and love to go to all the sporting events. Then there are horses. I used to own two of my own, but they get expensive, especially when competing, so I sold them. BIG regret. Now I exercise six horses for a friend of the family, and I kind of consider them mine. Especially Joe. I love Joe! XD

Well, I love Jeanine Stanton just because of the personality that is in every post. It makes me feel as though I could really have a conversation with her if she was just walking down the street. Inspiration for writing: Um, I dunno really. I've always thoroughly enjoyed writing. I've never been fabulous at it. My muse to write used to be huge when I was at high school. I was always up at night till crazy times, writing my little socks off. Now, all my essays are long instead! I suppose my inspiration was escapism, really. I used to write to create a world and characters that I controlled. Much like acting, I could slip into an entirely different persona. I wouldn't be boring, lonely little Janna any more (I struggled socially, and due to autistic tendencies, I preferred loneliness to company); I'd be Eidolon the magical wolf, or I'd be Jana Phrixus, my written alter ego. I liked to get away from the real world a lot. Still do.

Hobbies: My main hobbies are writing, rping, travel and photography. I can't get enough of photography. My camera goes everywhere with me. I also breed and show mice.

I'm gonna have to say Mina Hart, mainly because I love her fiery, don't give a damn kind of nature. And all her threads are so fun, and I'm hoping to have a lot more threads with her and Lady Vic.

Um, I dunno what else to talk about really. I volunteer every now and again for a disabled theatre group who are due to perform in London soon. I met them at the beginning of the year, and they're fab. They're called Mind the Gap. They brought a huge block of sandstone to my town in a project called Immovable and dumped it in the middle of the street. I spent every day by it, capturing the things that happened on and around it, then following them up to York where they repeated the project. Working with them gave me my little one week of fame and I really enjoyed it, it also made me realise how much I enjoyed photography and working in the media sector.
<>br I've been doing a creative media course for a year now and I'm about to move onto my second year in September, alongside a photography course. I thoroughly enjoy studying media and would like to work either with the BBC or in the film industry in the future. I'm also trying to set up my own photography business at present, where my two main projects are equine photography and sport photography, mainly in the form of skateboarding and parkour. I love both and wish I could do them myself. I'm currently photographing local skateboarders and hoping to sponsor them once I can afford it. I'm putting their pictures onto skateboards, so they can show off their best tricks on their own custom decks or hang them up on the wall.

My life had been pretty boring for quite some time as I used to be a little agoraphobic. However, I'm now getting out and living life as full as I can manage, as well as making my own dreams come true, eventually. I'm also gay, which probably explains why all my characters are too! And I'm an avid gamer. Most of the time, no one can drag me away from my Xbox. I love to play the Rockstar games, such as Red Dead Redemption, LA Noire and the Grand theft auto series, but I also love the Assassins Creed series (so much I'm thinking of getting a tattoo of the symbol), Fable and Need for Speed. I'm an electronics geek and I love my gadgets too. I'm on my computer 24 hours a day, pretty much. Can't tear me away from it. I'm always trying to create new characters and ideas for stories, as well as other things. I have a vast collection of music and I couldn't live without it. I also love to create videos and graphics, but I'm not brilliant at it.
