Title: Falling Into A New Life

A swollen stomach moved under the light blue fabric that stretched with the swell, while digits elegantly swam over the moving life beneath. It was a curious thing, life, that is. The mere creation, and all within one, the short time that can possibly be expected with it. However, sometimes the beautiful creation of life makes it long journey into the bright new world, and Ava's mind wandered down that path as she listened to the horses hoofs clunkering their own songs onto the ground. Her hand still running over her stomach lost in thought, the other hand holding the reigns that helped direct her home to what would soon be her new home for not only her but the expected son or daughter that excitedly moved in that swollen belly of her's.

Clunk clunk. The neighing of horses. And the silent whispers of wind in the early speaking against tree branches played their tunes as the town ahead slept in the early morning. It was still dark outside, and the birds nestled in their nest. Early morning it was, and Ava was rather thankful her arrival into her new home would be nothing but silent, and able to not draw too much attention- At least for another few hours that is.

And so it was. Her carriage pulled as silent as possible into the town, where it parked out of the way of other travelers, or new home settlers such as herself. Exhausted, she dropped the reigns, and slowly wobbled down from the carriage to go tend to her faithful horses that brought her here. Her hand gave a few love pets to each one after she fed, and watered them. Afterward the woman climbed into her portable home, and rested into where she usually slept- A pile of blankets, and a pillow or two. Not that it was possible to get comfortable with her swollen belly, but she managed her best, and slowly her eyelids fell to the darkness where dreams lingered just waiting for your arrival.

Once there, her body lay as silent as the town, one hand on her stomach, the other above her head, and her lips parted in tiny, yet heavy breathes that escaped them. A dreaming place was the best at the moment, because once she awoke? She faced a new life, and a new world.
