Title: The Charm Lord
Description: Audition

Mystic Lord Orlouge - November 4, 2011 05:59 PM (GMT)
Character Name: Orlouge, Charm Lord, Ruler of Facinaturu...got lots of names
Type: Saga Frontier Canon
Headcanon: Orlouge is the top pimp in Facinaturu. There are four Mystic Lords. They control Time, Disease, Rings, and Charm. Apparently the basic Mystic elements are really weird that they include rings but whatever, not that Rikku finds ring power weird but he's a monsters so whatever. Orlouge has charm, so if it works like the other Mystic Lords, that means Charm isn't just charisma but also a power. He has the magical ability to make you want him. He decided to use that power to get him bitches princesses. Also, he has a wonderful motto about his life: "Live, lust, and kill as you please."
Relevant info: This was supposed to be Orlouge getting his 46th princess and then his first princess goes and murders herself, thus Orlouge coffins all his princesses because you can't run away/murder yourself if you're sleep in a coffin. I got lazy so none of the part where Rei commits suicide because that is the answer to everything... Just some nice Orlouge/White Rose.
Your nickname: Celes
Audition:
Introducing the forty-sixth arch-princess of Facinaturu, Princess White Rose,” Ildon announced loudly as the beautiful creature he had found on one of his trips to the human world entered the room. She was truly stunning. On the day he found such a delicate creature, she was tending to flowers. It was such a sweet hobby. He enjoyed flowers, himself. They were so delicate and beautiful. But flowers in the human world were just like humans. They were so quick to decay and turn ugly. He could not have such an exquisite individual such as herself fall into waste as humans did. She would grow old and dull, and the world would lose such a radiant thing.

Princess Rei scuffed as she looked upon the girl ordained with white roses. He had demanded the tailor make his newest princess stunning just like a rose from his garden. The man delivered. Her human rags they called clothing were gone and now she wore something suiting her. She had a crown of flowers that looked only suitable for a noblewoman. Her dress was the color of a garden. There were yellows for the light and blues for the water the plants needed. There were roses about her dress. She was lovely enough to be the centerpiece of his garden. And such a thing seemed to upset his dear Rei.

He had known Rei was not fond of other princesses. She held the title of his first princess, and yet that did not seemed to bring her any join. She had such a sour look to her at all times, as if he was making her unhappy. Such a thing was impossible, if not laughable. He was the Charm Lord. Orlouge could do no wrong as the Master of Facinaturu. All in Chateau Aiguille were under his rule and obligated to enjoy it. He did not take kind to those that would object to his decisions or actions. Even if Rei was his first and most beloved princess, she was not above his laws. His sapphire orbs fell upon her and they locked briefly. The iciness of his glare could make the little warmth of Facinaturu disappear and leave nothing but its chilling darkness. He watched her quickly shy away from his unfriendly glaze before leaving all together. Princess Rei simply faded away. Whether she went off to throw a tantrum in another part of his chateau or if she left all together to hide in the lowly depths of Rootville didn’t concern him at the moment. He would deal with his beloved little Rei at another time.

For the moment, White Rose was his only concern.

She stood there with such a pretty smile. Her lovely eyes showed all her emotions. The fear. The zeal. The excitement. The uneasiness. The hopefulness. The powerlessness. All the things she felt made the man chuckle, which seemed to frighten his newest toy even more. She was indeed delicate. He lifted from his chair and reached out for her hand. Her tiny pale fingers touched his hand and he grasped it firmly. He pulled her closely and smiled at her. For this instant, she was his and the only thing he desired. She would receive all of his affections and all of his passion. She was would be envied by all the other princesses in the room even though they had each received this look once. One woman could never hold his interest for too long. He was the lord of charm. He had a magnetism that attracted them all to him. And while they were all special in their own way, none of them had the charisma he had. None of them could resist his advances. And when he was bored with them all, he simply left them to be trophies around his abode as he searched out a new arch-princess.

”Shall we leave, my dearest?” he asked her. His voice was forceful and booming, but far from threatening or malicious. She nodded and he couldn’t help but smile. They slowly disappeared, leaving for the most private part of the castle. He felt the eyes of the other princesses. Their jealousy and sorrow was always amusing. They all wanted him at each and every waking moment and knew they couldn’t. They could only bicker amongst themselves, though made sure never to trouble him with it. To upset Orlouge came with consequences.

They appeared in his private quarters instantly. The young woman wasn’t used to being a Mystic or moving about like one. Her legs seemed to collapse on her and she fell into him. He made sure to hold his delicate little flower up. He would never let her fall or hurt herself. She was his and such a fragile possession required care. He carefully set her upon his bed as he let her rest. ”You are truly beautiful,” he told her. Her pale cheeks became a bright crimson color. ”As a Mystic, such beauty will live forever. It pains me to think of how such a thing might have faded if I were to never had met you. You, my dearest White Rose, have a beauty that should be preserved.” She looked at him in awe. He wasn’t sure if she was captivated by his words or his presence. She was new and not used to his omnipresence. She had no come into her Mystic powers either. She was simply a girl that was no longer human. She would no longer age or get sick. She would exist for an eternity in the same way just as Facintauru existed for an eternity, unchanged.

Slowly, something else seemed to develop in her eyes. It confused Orlouge. The Master of Chateau Aiguille had forty-five women before her. A few of them were lower Mystics he made princesses and Rei was above them all as a noblewoman. She was the only princess who kept her true name. Each princess he renamed since they were now his. No human was named White Rose. But other humans he had taken as a princess and changed into Mystic hadn’t looked distraught when finally alone with him. Princess Lion’s only distraught moment was when he defeated her since she had believed she was the stronger person in existence. The silly girl soon learned otherwise and it crushed her world, but only for a moment. Soon after, her world expanded to include him. But White Rose was not a wild animal looking to be tamed. She was not a girl that was solely concerned about herself. He even suspected that personal appearance wasn’t as important to her as it was to him.

”Something troubles you, my dearest princess? Any concern of yours is a concern of mine,” he promised as he took her hand. He placed it on his chest as he finally sat next to her. ”You can confide in me.” She was supposed to trust him. She was obligated to tell him any and everything he wanted to know. He was the highest order of power in this realm. Any problem she had was to be solved by him. But then she said something outrageous! He had never heard such an answer come from one of the beautiful mouths of the other forty-five previous princesses.

”Worried about those in your past?” he repeated in confusion. His hand let go of hers for a moment as he sat there in shock. Why? Why would she care about those people when they were now meaningless? Orlouge laughed abruptly. This was hilarious! This woman was his and he could see it in her eyes yet she worried for others rather than basked in her moment of glory. ”You are truly a kind woman. You are by far the kindest arch-princess in Facinaturu. My dearest, do not trouble yourself over such things.” Even though she was now immortal and thus could return to see them at any time, he wouldn’t allow it. She would live in Facinaturu for eternity. She would never see those people in her past. ”Instead, you should think of the members of the court as family. The other arch-princess are older sisters and the newer ones will be younger sisters. And I will be the man you love the most.” The other princes weren’t ever to be her concern. She would only need to worry about him and the occasional other princess.

”You are truly a beautiful princess, White Rose. Let me make you more beautiful.”

He pulled her close and kissed her. She was all that he desired at the moment and he would have her. Nothing would stop him from having her. She would succumb to him like every other woman. He was the Charm Lord.

Everything looks great, but there is a correction to make on the headcanon section. The Space Lord isn't one of the mystic lords. Kyiln is actually, technically, a monster and therefore not a mystic--it's just a derpy little note (I can totally see why there'd be confusion with all these assholes throwing around titles). However, Dr. Nusakan IS technically that fourth mystic lord--Disease Lord. (There's also the huge argument on what the requirements are to become a mystic lord, but this is an application approve, not a SF debate).

HOWEVER with that little note, I agree with your headcanon the rest of the way and approve it (since it's heavily supported that's how his charm works in canon), and I approve this.

Now let's go steal the hell out of some princesses together.

1/2 Approved

Mystic Lord Orlouge - November 4, 2011 06:59 PM (GMT)
I remember thinking Kylin was a monster and getting confused. Didn't realize Dr. Nusakan was a Mystic Lord. Then again Mesarthim was a mermaid and a Mystic and I think the fire burning was once a princess. Then again, didn't understand how they said Rei was reborn human even though when I recruit her she's a Mystic. I can already tell making this app is going to be timely on trying to research things...

It's kind of a wonky detail, so don't worry about it! I know an app isn't the place for discussion (since you have my 1/2 Approve anyways), but if you need a good source for it, try GameFAQ's storyline guide as it has the translated snippets from Essence of Saga Frontier. I use it a lot for Asellus, oh lawd.

The Dolorosa - November 7, 2011 01:22 AM (GMT)
Since Marlu's much more familiar with SF than I am and already pointed out everything that really needed to be fixed, I can go ahead and 2/2 approve you with the force of a thousand horse-drawn carriages running over little girls.
