Well, this was the last thing in either uniiverse that Tavros expected. Getting into the uniform was a massive production and just generally horribky embarrassing to any parties unfortunate to witness it. Bt he had managed it--maybe a bit easier since dresses were not pants. Regardless, that did not make wheeling his way through the messy grand entryway much more comfortable. Given his wiry frame from his wheelchair, the boy was entirely dwarfed by his surroundings.
Did giants live in this place or something? Holy crap.
He gave another sigh as he realized, as huge as this place was and as overwhelming as the features of the ornate, yet incredibly filthy surroundings were, he was all alone at the moment in his task of cleaning up the entry way.
With a rattling of his wheeled device, he started to roll it along, trying to find out just where those who were supposed to help were. Maybe he was missing them and they were already here? By the look of things, they were not finished--the place was still an unkempt mess.
With absolutely no sign of any form of help that the boy-skylark could see, he decided to at least try and start on his own. Maybe, if he was fortunate enough, his teammates were going to arrive shortly. Maybe they would be nice, like Jade and Aradia and Kanaya and Nepeta.
Anyone but Vriska, he hoped.
Just anyone that would not be Vriska would be good, Tavros imagined. He would even be happy to see Equius or Eridan just a little bit. Maybe Gamzee? However, the thought of them trying to do any form of work seemed nearly impossible considering how the highblood had a tendency to be absolutely glutted with mind-dulling sopor. At least that would be fun and certainly not Vriska.
Regardless, he knew that he had to get started on his task on his own. It was, admittedly, a bit disheartening to see such a huge place entirely empty, and he had to quickly assure Rufio that they would be fine and it was not any indication of being rejected for anything. However, being confident was incredibly difficult when he was dressed in girl's clothing and he was stuck in his four-wheeled device. To make matters worse, he could not seem to spot where any of the cleaning supplies were stored for them to use. He rolled around the perimeter of the room, searching for anything that might have been used for cleaning--or remotely looked like it could have been used for cleaning--but no luck so far for him.
"Uhhh, this really isn't good, at all," Tavros said quietly as he rolled up to the bottom of the stairs after several rounds around the hall had been made. He stopped and tried to think about what his idol would do in a moment like this. What would Pupa Pan do?
Well, it would probably involve flying, which was physically impossible for him to perform. Then it would probably involve fighting pirates and finding treasure. There most likely were not pirates within the palace, and certainly not any that he could ever dream to take down while he was supposed to be cleaning things instead of fighting. As for treasure, cleaning supplies were not really treasure...
But Tavros knew one thing that Pupa Pan would do: find his friends and allies first.
"Is anyone around?" Tavros asked, his voice rising a little bit. "If anyone is assigned to clean the hallway, it would be really nice if you were to make yourself known so that we may, ummm, finish this task sooner rather than later. Since this is a job, we should probably start."
He paused again, his lips crinkling slowly into a defeated frown.
"Is anyone here?"

A soft blush was painted across his pale white cheeks, his emerald green eyes closed halfway in embarassment. Why the hell was he here? He didn't want to be here, but he had been summoned and forced to done this disgusting attire. His upper lip curled slightly as he looked down at the dress that he was forced to wear. A maid outfit on someone that was part of one of the 12 branches of the Duodecim? Despicable. He was glad that he was clearly not in Kagutsuchi, where someone he might know would see him and possibly report him. This was simply indecent, disgusting, and juvenile. Such a dress was the fetish of many a man, but not Jin Kisaragi. Granted, it resembled his military outfit, but he still did not derive enjoyment from this situation at all. He was told he would have to clean, and though such a thing was so beneath him, he found himself compelled to complete the tasks set before him. Despite his better judgment.
When he gazed upon the revolting sight of the room filled with garbage and dirt, his upper lip curled into a disgusted sneer. He was repulsed by the very sight of the room. How could anyone allow a room to get so messy? "What the hell is the owner of this place? A goddamn pig?" He muttered scornfully under his breath as he placed one hand on his hip, the other resting at his side with Yukianesa firmly in grasp. The sword never left his side, he felt a deep anger boiling within him, planted there by the sword he held within his grasp. It whispered to him, telling him to simply abandon the room. To coat it in a thick layer of ice and leave, consequences be damned. Gritting his teeth slightly, he narrowed his jade eyes and strode forward, kicking aside trash and giving a disgusted "Ugh", with every slimy item he had to push aside with his boot. The entranceway was filthy...he would hate to see the inside. "What a mess... Huh?" he began to remark once more on the nature of the area when he heard something else rummaging through the trash. Half expecting to look up and see a massive rat barreling toward him.
No, it was something much more curious and far less annoying...hopefully.
Slowly, Jin strolled over to where the wheel-chair bound boy was, and he saw that he too had a dress similar to his own on. The Major winced slightly and looked away, scowling and sighing slowly. "So...I take it you'll be my partner for this task? Wonderful." he muttered disdainfully and squeezed the scabbard of Yukianesa tightly in irritation. A wheelchair bound boy was his helper when all of this trash was to be cleaned up? Not to mention the filthy fucking stairs that presented themselves to the duo. How would the horned child scale the stairs in his wheelchair? Bringing a hand up to his forehead, he could feel a headache begin to develop, his green eyes narrowing slowly. A heavy sigh was brought forth from his lips as he shook his head and turned to regard the kid. It was not his fault, he would simply have to carry the task of cleaning the stairs on his own shoulders. He hardly took head to the boy's ash gray skin and large set of horns. He had seen many odd things in Kagutsuchi, a boy in a wheelchair with discolored skin and horns...okay, perhaps that was a little bit of an odd site.
"Hm...are you some kind of bull beastkin or something? I can't say I've ever seen such a creature like you. Especially with such...attention-drawing horns." his green eyes scanned the bright orange protrusions coming from the sides of the boy's skull. His eyes narrowed slightly as he walked over to take hold of one of the broad-headed brooms that could sweep up quite a bit of junk in just a few sweeps. His fingers gripped the wooden handle of the broom firmly before tossing it down so that the wooden shaft smacked against the chair between the boy's legs. "My name is Major Jin Kisaragi. You can call me Jin, I suppose." he muttered and brought his hand to the green hilt of Yukianesa, allowing it to slip from the sheath slowly, allowing a mere glimpse at the icy blue blade within the sheath as he stood before the horned boy. His eyes narrowed and he watched as the water molecules in the air collected around where the broom connected with the chair and formed a cluster of strong ice to hold it in place. This way, he could roll his wheel chair around with the broom mounted on front while Jin focused upon the stairs.
"I will get the stairs if you try to get the rest of the garbage down here in one large pile. Then we can both get it to...wherever it needs to go." he scowled a bit, hoping that there would perhaps be one more person that would be helping them both. If not, it would be a very long and painful process of cleaning up this pig sty. He made it a point to stop resisting Yukianesa's urges to kill as soon as he saw the owner of the house. As he walked to the stairs, he stared up at them and frowned, his dark green eyes gazing at the grime covering the steps, looking far too dangerous to even walk upon without perhaps slipping and hurting something. "There had better be someone else here to help us." Jin said in an irritated fashion, sighing heavily and going to take hold of a broom with his free hand. He would actually need to put Yukianesa somewhere safe, probably out of reach of the child in the wheelchair. He was unsure how the Nox Nyctores would react to somebody other than him trying to use it, though it could just be that they would not pull it from the sheath, it was unlikely. Yukianesa was a fickle bitch and he could see them trapping the unknowing fool in a large casket of ice.
However, the thoughts that were lined over his mind were that it would not be such a bad thing. No doubt Yukianesa's handy work.
