Character Name: Broderick "Bro" Strider
Type: Canon - Homestuck
Relevant info: I play Bro to be about in his 25-30s. So let's just stick with 28. He's the older brother of Dave Strider.
Your nickname: Becky! (:
Audition:
He didn't know why the hell he was stuck in all this traffic. He was trying to get home and honestly he knew Dave would raise hell again if he called saying he couldn't make it home that night. Plus, the schools were after him now, calling him going, "Mr. Strider, where is David? He hasn't been here all week. David needs to attend school, Mr. Strider."
There was no way Broderick would get another call like that. Ditching school against his brother's orders was not any bit cool or ironic! Bro expected better of Dave to actually manage himself well. Sure, he was gone almost three out of four weeks in the month- however Dave had no right to disrespect him like that.
Stupid twit, I'm gonna have to lay a beatdown on him to set him straight. It's not that he didn't care about Dave, it was just that sometimes Bro honestly thought Dave was being a baby and missing him too much. It was almost like Dave didn't take into consideration that Bro was getting them money to feed Dave's mouth! It irritated Bro every single damn time that Dave called him up in the middle of getting it on with a chick ; hearing that ringtone that Dave made of himself rapping about Bro picking up his goddamn phone. The looks the ladies gave him everytime he had to pick up the phone right in the middle of getting it on- it was absolutely embarrassing.
Nontheless, he kept on with the traffic, being dead set on kicking his brother's butt when he got home for not going to school.
Two hours later, he arrived in the apartment, opening the door to see an angry blonde teenage Dave on the couch glaring at him.
"Sup lil' bro?" he asked, then frowning, glaring at Dave through his oddly shaped glasses. "I heard you skipped school, again. You remember what happened last time? Well, either you start apologizing now or you feel the pain of regret for not apologizing later."
He knew Dave would blow him off and curse at him, so he grabbed Dave by the ear and yanked him up off the couch, dragging him up - still by the ear- to the rooftop of their apartment building.
"It's beatdown time, lil' Bro."
I dig it.
2/2 ironic approval.
