Alright so everything partaining to a confrontation in space orbit, travelling or otherwise will be discussed here in my preliminary examination of how to's for space confrontation and elimination.

What you will need to do first is examine certain aspects of a space battle, consider and weigh the outcome heavily on your constant; ever watchng mind and keep in mind and consideratiion that not all times you wll remain the victor in any and all space conflicting skirmishes and battles.
The outcome will remain the same with everyone, a scale with be provided interms of oral and monitoring support of an admin or mod who are/is in charge of monitoring and overseeing the progress of the combat role play.

In the circumstances of a battle that involves limited person(s) in the role play scenario one of sevreal things will occur:

1. Direct Impact; this means that you or an allied party attempts to or successfully makes/make a direct kamikaze attack in which would most likely render the opposition with A) A direct hit to their morale, B ) loss in support and pilots or C) a small chance to successfully avoid or subdue the suicide vessel who is attempting to make tthat critical blow to its enemy units

One thing to remember is you must calculate all occurances into one mold of a chance, inorder to successfully make a critical or otherwise crucial/non crucial blow against your opponent is that you must take in mind the anomylies to the hit and strike' against the enemy parties.
which means if your ship' hull and weapons are maxed out at a combined skill of; lets just say five and your enemies is a ten then you will have to accept a) the chance at success is very minimal or B ) you can jus kiss your backside good bye since you wont make it out alive but your allies and enemies will.

However, one exception to this calclating rule will be YOUR SHIELDS in which your outcome of the battle could be compromised for either the worst domino effect of your career or the best sabaac hand you could come across...IDIOT'S ARRAY!!
Yet this will have to be a maximun shielding of a level one-hundred at any given time and combined with the full, supplemenetal hull and shielding weapons integrity for you to begin to tip the oncoming tide in your favor.....VERY RARE!!!

2. Direct Hit; A direct hit is as it sounds, the outcome is a various of many things which could be construed as either dangeous, political or just plain comical. just to make things clear a direct hit is always intended for one of two things;

A) Complete Anihilation and devistation of a vessel inbound or outbound of a space combat scenario/arena

OR

B ) Complete failure or otherwise crippling ones vessel from further assault and defense vectors/arena's

Inorder to score a direct hit on an opponent you will haveto weigh the options of

A) Making it out alive with minimal or no injury or casualties to your ship, allied party/ships or self; B ) Free-Space (Meaning no one is in your path or way while firing, even if you have a split second to fire your onboard weapons and make a hit or attempt to make a hit before ships pass you by) or C) Piloting and combat esxprience and skill.

YOUR skill is the basic neccessity of the fighting capabilities of ones appropriated responce to a common, unusual/usual or uncommon tactic that would leave one' morals highly corrupted and/or "dislocate" for a time being, yet the skills of the character also are used for such things like weapons effiency against malfunctions or misfiring (yes even in space combat they can misfire) or a ship breaking down in the middle of the battle.
So if you are a pilot make sure to state you have accurate or moderate skills in repair, piloting and navigation and not just an "ace-in-the-hole with space combat.

OR

Complete failure or otherwise crippling ones vessel from further assault and defense vectors.

Inorder to score a direct hit on an opponent you will haveto weigh the options of

A) Making it out alive with minimal or no injury or casualties to your ship, allied party/ships or self; B ) Free-Space (Meaning no one is in your path or way while firing, even if you have a split second to fire your onboard weapons and make a hit or attempt to make a hit before ships pass you by) or C) Piloting and combat exprience ad skill.

Now to further explain events as they MAY happen;

If you have engaged the enemy parties in combat in space it is vital you complete the course of role play action until the scenario is completed or the author/admin has asked for the closure of a thread. Only way for an admin to do so would be to allow the thread to remain inactive for a customary amount of three weeks and then it will automatically be closed and deemed insuficient to remain and will be moved to the archves.

Must you enter into the scenario, your ship must be of full or half health requirements to accomodate the outcome; if your ship is less than half you will be instructed to go back to your hq and either attain a newer ship or have yours repaired in which all will be done through extensive role play. Admins will be monitoring and taking notes of these requirements so they can be folowed.

If its been decided by role play plot. admin intervening or admin approval and applications that your faction or alliance has won the battle then you will be handed an accomodation by the elders, leader or person in charge of your faction or unit long as it was YOU that aided no less than seventy-percent of the time to win the war. If this happens then it is possible you will be hailed a hero in your faction and/or alliance.
