Okay. I based most of the structure of this guild off of Freemasonry and The Knight's Templar.
Joce, tell me if this is an okay set up.

Assassin's guilds are set up into Lodges and Great Lodges. The Great Lodges, obviously, are several lodges combined under one Overmaster. Most Lodges fall under one of the Great Lodges. But several have chosen to be independent, the Freelance Dederian Assassin’s Lodge is one. Like most Lodges, the FLDAL went by another name, The Black Ripple. The Black Ripple has been planned to have a strong chain of authority. The current wanted setup is Overmaster >> High Council Man >> Council >> >> Artisans/Weapons Masters >> Members. Unlike many organizations such as this, any bounty or loot is divided evenly among all involved parties. They seem to honor a similar code to thieves, only more along the lines of "Honor amongst killers." They have several guild laws that are to be followed or punishment is enforced, usually death. How fitting. Although, like in all organizations, corruption may occur along with favoritism, we'll just have to see.

This guild may be underground, but if you need someone taken care of, they just might approach you.
Depends on how big your mouth is.

But sometimes you just might have to ask around the shadier characters of Dederia for information on joining and/or hits.

The Black Ripple accepts many kinds of members.
Whether they are temporary Mercenaries that are passing through and need a paycheck or long lasting members.


Freelance Dederian Assassination's Lodge Laws

1. Do not murder a fellow guild member, unless you were attacked, or unless ordered by the Overmaster. -- Punishment: Death

2. Do not steal from a fellow guild member, unless ordered by the Overmaster. This includes hiding loot before distribution. -- Punishment: Loss of extremity. Finger, Hand, Arm, etc. Depends on the severity of stolen goods.

3. Do not directly speak of the guild directly to non members unless a promise of coin or membership. -- Punishment: Lashings. Unless it is an often re occurrence, then possible death.

4. Do not go against the orders of the Overmaster. -- Punishment: Death, although there are exceptions at the wish of the Overmaster.

5. Do not kill innocents without a hit request, or permission from the Overmaster. -- Punishment: Loss of extremity. Finger, Hand, Arm, etc. Depends on the severity of endangering the guild security.
