Not going to lie, but other than case (there doesn't seem to be nearly enough light output ... seriously, that is my only gripe with it) this seems solid. My only concern would be that you might be lacking power ... 500W doesn't seem like it would be nearly enough.

It's definitely a wise choice, it's a small increase for a greater power supply. Also I assume you have fans already?

I would recommend this video card, its basically the same price after the rebate, but it's a better card.
I wouls also reccomend this CPU since it's a tri-core (dual cores are almost on their way out), and is only a few dollars more, plus it also uses the AM3 socket so you can stay with the same mobo. |

If there's anything I learned about mail-in rebates is that I never get them. Even after mailing them in.
I will consider these, but I would like to keep it NCIX as there is no shipping because I can pick up from the store on Eglinton and Mavis. Processor: http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=55074 Video Card: http://ncix.com/products/?sku=62756&vpn=HD...FX&promoid=1307 Cheaper RAM: http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku...45&promoid=1307 New Price: $640-ish |

If your willing to spend a little extra on the power supply, I would highly recommend you get a modular power supply since it allows you to use only the cables you need to, and therefore less clutter and more air flow.

Now, would I have to buy cables seperately, or do PSU's like that come with the cables I'd need?

Ugh... I mapped out all these prices during a sale. Without the sale, the price is currently ($712.83). Looks like I'm gonna hold onto the money until the next sale happens. Which is good because I won't have it for a couple months anyway.

I did... pretty much half of the items are always on sale though... >_>
http://ncix.com/promo/promosale.php?webid=getready2011 Assuming they have a sale every week... which it looks like they do. They had a Mississauga grand opening sale for a whole month, then the week long sale last week, and then this week's sale... so ¯\>_>/¯ |

Sooo, with the possibility of getting my loan... In an hour. This is the currect computer I can buy for $681 after tax/warranty. The max possible I would spend is $700, but I really want to spend below that so it works out.
Keep in mind that it also comes with 2 free games because Promos are awesome. Case (Same as Above) $40 Hard Drive (Upgrade from 1TB to 2TB for same price) $68 Processor (Upgrade from 3x to 4x) $210 with MOBO Motherboard (Same as Above) --- RAM (Same as Above) $30 Video Card (Same as Above but "Black Edition") $200 ($170 with MIR which I hate...) Power Supply (Non-Modular One) $55 3.2 Quad Core 2TB of Data 4GB of RAM 600W Radeon HD 6870 $681.-- Double check all components work? |

Awesome choice on CPU, I was going to recommend that but I was not sure if it would fit the budget. Also. since it's the black edition, you can easily overclock it.
