Registering Rules
1] Please register with your character's First and Last name. Use proper punctuation; no all caps no all lowercase. We are an Account per Character board. Be sure to register a new account for every character.
3] We want to keep Mary-Su's and Gary Su’s off of our site. Everyone has flaws and makes mistakes. Please, be realistic with your character's personality.
General Rules
5] Your Admins are here to keep the board fun, active, and free from animosity, prejudice, and other such behavior. Please respect our decisions.
6] Flaming; abusive and offensive behavior; and insulting comments are forbidden on this site. It can and will result in a heavy warning, and possibly banning and deletion.
7] Keep all In Character animosity and enmity IN CHARACTER. Do not take offense at another member because of something their character did/said to your's.
8] This board complies with InvisionFree TOS; we are rated PG13-RATED for violence, gore, and delicate situations. Be aware that adult content is allowed on this site, WITHIN MODERATION, and we won’t be held responsible for sensitive members being offended by this. But this site is NOT about sex, and any members caught using it to roleplay on that subject matter alone will be banned. Please mark any threads and posts as MATURE if you find the content may be offensive to anyone. If your thread takes an unexpected turn you should alert an Admin or Moderator so that the a warning can be placed.You have been warned.
9] Stealing is not nice, and people who are not nice usually don’t last in life. The content here on this site is property of the Admins ergo stealing gets you a permanent ban. That means Graphics, ideas and canons; we made them, we claim them. We will also ban if we find you using graphics on this board ripped from someone else.
10] Show a little maturity. We don’t want any pettiness or childishness on this board.
Role-play Rules
11] Use proper grammar and write in 3rd person past tense.
12] There is a 250 word minimum for our site. At least two good paragraphs is preferred. Please do NOT make me have to start counting every post, it wont be pretty. Keep in mind good writing is not just dialogue, describe thoughts, feelings, surrounding ect.
13] Keep all Out Of Character conversations in the shoutbox or OOC forum.
14] Realism is a must in role-playing. Please keep this in mind when posting, and keep your posts as realistic as possible.
15] Two things that are certainly not allowed are God-moding and power-play. The third major no-no is the 'know it all'. Let me help you with something ladies and gents. I don’t know everything so neither do you and your characters. This is mystery based site, so characters that know it all, are detrimental to everyone's fun including your own! Three strikes, and you are out. That's right people, two warnings, and then you get a 3 day suspension from the site.
16] Trust your Admins! We use a random selection method to choose characters for various events such as tip-offs, clues, kidnappings, etc. If an Admin makes a request from you, trust us, it's for the enhancement of the plot. If for any reason you feel unable to comply, please just give us good cause; I.E. somehow against your morals, or completely out of character.
17] No one dies without Admin approval. In return, we promise not to kill your characters off without YOUR approval. Deal?
