Food Terelsk.

'Arf, arf!'

"Oh, shush you two! You'll both get fed. Ow! I'm sorry, all three of you."

Loud.

"You're telling me."

The group making its way down the corridor was definitely loud, as the little Pomegranate had noted with her limited vocabulary. Poor Terelin was now being hounded by no less than three energetic, chattery and annoying creatures positively begging to be fed. Conri and Ivy had quickly adjusted to Terel's late schedule. Anything to get on his nerves. The fact that "loud" had been one of the first words Terelsk had learned after "food" came as absolutely no surprise to the boy.

He didn't mind, of course. In fact, if they had been quiet, he would have been positively disappointed. He could do without the Leaf diving at his head, however. Ivy had not been very happy with the new addition to their group to begin with, and the feeling had been mutual. Terelsk had attempted to eat the flitter on more than one occasion, and might have succeeded if not for Terel's quick action.

"Alright, now where are the pantries?" Terel was still not sure where they were. The last few times he had gone there he'd had to have a drudge show him the way. Ivy continued chittering at him while Conri ran around his feet. Terelsk was chasing the canine about, not helping the situation one bit.

Food! The wherling was getting testy now. She wanted to be fed, and Terelin was not going to get any peace until she was!

"Stop it." A girl said blankly, watching as a tabby feline batted her spoon across the table. "I need that, Pai. Bring it back, please." When the feline refused -naturally! Why would he return his new toy?- the girl was forced to stand and go find some other form of ware to eat with. She seated herself with dignity and began carefully slicing a interesting looking mound of food, which may have been herdbeast at some point, into pieces. When that was accomplished... She began daintily shoveling the food into her mouth was large bites. Who knew a girl could eat so much?

Diah was not one who particularly cared if someone came into an area she was in. When a commotion came from the hall, she ignored it. Even when she was sure she saw a group of creatures (with one human in the middle) coming this way, she didn't really care. If they bothered her while she was eating, she would simply cram her fork into that boy's throat and be done with it. That solved the problem, right? "What are you doing?" By now, the feline had flipped himself over a bowl and was playing around under it, running around and crashing into various objects. He had already nearly knocked his mistress' cup over. She liked her klah, thank you, and she would absolutely hate having to injure her darling demon. She was so very fond of him. Well, it would have to do. She lured Pai out with a piece of meat and snatched him off the table, setting him down so that he could go crashing around the floor instead. It was safer that was for Diah's food.

[Hockey]

"Ow! Knock it off you sharding flitter."

Here food! As soon as they reached the room the drudge had brought them to the day before, Terelsk recognized it. Pushing Terelin with her head, she attempted to steer him through the entrance. Conri and Ivy dashed past the boy into the room, nearly toppling him in their haste. As it was, the ungainly mutt ended up toppling himself as he bowled over an equally energetic seeming feline. Picking himself up, the canine immediately began to sniff the smaller animal anywhere his cold wet nose could reach. The flitt, however, decided to investigate the girl already sitting at the table, darting around her head and sticking her much smaller head right up next to the girl's hand in her hurry to find out what she was eating.

Terel nearly followed his canine onto the floor as Terelsk continued to butt against his legs. "Okay, okay! Hold on!" He pushed Conri away from the ball of fur he had been investigating and tried to grab Ivy before she attempted to eat the girl's food or tangle herself in her hair. "Sorry about the noise," he said with a grin. "Can't go anywhere without these walking disasters." The Leaf evaded his grasp and settled down on a sack of tubers, giving her bonded a disdainful look.

"Terelsk, no!"

The wher had her head burried in said sack of tubers, not caring what she was getting into, though she was fairly certain that it was food. Terelin picked the little Queen up, shaking a finger in front of her muzzle. "That's not nice. Those aren't yours, are they?" The wher did not seem apologetic, which did not surprise Terel at all. "Don't do it again."

[Anyu]

Pai arched his back reflexively, then spotted a nice new scratching post. He flattened himself to the ground until the canine was pulled away from him, and then crept slowly after. He wriggled in anticipation and then let fly, latching onto said canine's neck and biting in a non-harmful way, kicking his little hind legs lightly. He was just being playful.

Diah, on the other hand, looked at the newcomer for a moment, saying nothing, before she returned her attention to her food. She continued the shoveling process, eating through anything and everything on her plate. Was that a bone? A very tiny bone to a very tiny winged thing... Fly away, little flitter! Fly! When finally her food was gone, she pushed back her chair, dabbed lightly at her mouth with a napkin, and rose from her seat. Not once did she acknowledge that Terelin was actually there. No, she just swept past him, unlatching her feline from the other animal, and swept toward the door.

Conri spun around in circles, yapping at the furry creature attatched to his neck. What was that little feline doing? Well, whatever it was, the canine was having fun trying to dislodge him. Terelsk turned up her nose at those 'fuzzy things'. Fuzzy things always made a mess of everything. (Not that she didn't make enough of a mess herself.) Stupid. The wher's tone was disdainful. Wiggling in Terelin's arms, she tried to get at the food again. Why was he not feeding her? She was the most important thing in his life, after all.

Terelin laughed at the feline's game and scolded Terelsk for her impatience as he set her down. The Pomegranate was not in the mood to be scolded and snapped at the girl who picked up her feline. Not like. At that moment, Ivy landed on Terelsk's back, doing her best to make the wher fall over trying to get her off.

"That's not polite, Terelsk," Terelin chided. "And the same goes for you, Ivy." He shooed the flitt away from the wher, not wanting Terelsk to complain even more. Turning to the girl he asked with a smile, "Leaving so soon?" He understood her desire to get away from his rambunctious group. With a laugh he continued. "I don't blame you. Sometimes they even drive me up the wall." That was saying something, too, as it was very difficult to make Terelin crazy.

Diah glanced at the wher blankly, not fazed by the snapping motion, and flicked her gaze blankly to Terelin. "I came to eat. I have finished eating, so yes, I am leaving so soon." She replied briskly in her cold, yet somehow still musical voice. Pai was watching his chew toy with rapt attention, his tail twitching madly. He wanted to get down. He wanted to gnaw on that bony leg of Conri's. Too bad his mistress was holding him tightly, unwilling to let him wander free at the moment. She knew him. He would run off without a single thought to if she worried or if she was angry. It was usually the latter. Funny how this worked. "Is there something you wanted?" At least she had some shred of politeness.
