Back in a 'Big' wayElisabeth Rohm returns to series TV tonight with a four-part story arc on ABC's "Big Shots" - her first series appearance since leaving "Law & Order" two years ago.
"I've been keeping busy," Rohm told me via e-mail (she's in New Zealand on va cation). "I've done five movies since leaving 'Law & Order' and most of the offers I've been getting are for independent films."
On "Big Shots," Rohm will play Alex Mason, a TV stock analyst and love interest to James Walker (Michael Vartan).
Rohm says she'd "absolutely!" do another series "if the content is creative and appealing to me.
"In the meantime, I've been focusing on my big-screen projects," she says. "I just finished filming a project I'm really proud of called 'Kreutzer Sonata' which co-stars Danny Huston."
I asked her if she has any opinions on former "L&O" co-star Fred Thompson's run for the White House.
"Fred's my friend, and even though we don't always agree on politics, he will always be my friend," she said.
