Interests My biggest initial help was Al -( and Kendra - - both have been a huge moral support!

I am here, for support, as support and to learn.

Anyone can start this hobby cheaply with a lot of dedicated time and education. My first fish spawned in a tupperware bowl with some java fern given by a friend.

My first fish room with minimal supplies - 100 recycled jars for breeding, heaters, salt, fish, plants, good breeding stock, twice a day feedings, once a week jar cleaning, tank cleanings, water filter, shelves, lights, medicine, time spent on internet, local clubs, joining national club - 2,000 the first year easy.

Having just moved to a colder climate there is no hope of raising fish in kiddie pools during the summer like some of my friends back in Atlanta do. Gave all my supplies and fish away before moving, and now regretting it.
