He looks NICE! ...and Victoria is right about the reds - they're pure evil.

Congrats!!!

I do,
He is nice, should produce some nice show fish for you.

Do you have a female for him?
With his structure you could go either traditional plakat or halfmoon plakat with him....
Whatever you prefer.
I suggest a female with nice smooth "velvety" red color, and a nice smooth even anal fin..
Everything else on him looks great.........fins grow back! lol

I actually have the perfect female for him, she's a super red Thai import. She does have that velvety red color that's georgous and she's a big girl so I'm hoping he's going to be big enough for her. She seems to lean a little more towards traditional PK than halfmoon. I have an import that she was purchased with but I've never bred them because I just am not a fan of him (tail shape is bleh for me, slightly spade).

I might be looking for floating plants, PK male or female (teal and red), or I need a HM male (I've a ton of HM females with no mates - chocolate, green split to white, intense blue, and maybe another one). Let me try and get a good pic of him to post on here later, gotta try out the new camera. You do website stuff too right?

P.S. And actually the male in my avatar -- that's not the greatest pic of him, he's closer to teal than the true blue I wish he was. Also I can't get that one to breed yet, tried like 4 or 5 times since I've had him. He's a real show off, big bubblenest, flaring everywhere, but wrapping? No way!
