Hidden log in?, Are you doing it?

OK well this is just a question, I have noticed that there are several folks that log in so that they don't show up to the other members. Admins can see you anyway. LOL but I noticed that I am logged in hidden from view also. well I never do that so I was just wondering, if your doing it thats fine. But if your not doing it could you let me know with a PM, if your wondering how to tell there is a star * AFTER your name at the bottom of the first screen when you log in. I think you can see it, ?? Others can't just you.

I just think its strange that it does it to me for no reason. so I wanted to check with others and see if its happening to you with no reason for it? :scratch:

There are times when I get on the forum and my name is not showing up on the list.. yet my name is showing up as logged in.. And sometimes I think I am not getting a "fresh" page. Cause when I do click on a thread .. lots of people on the list at the bottom disappear and the latest names show . And after you said the * .. don't remember seeing that either..

When I click on a thread my name will finally show on the members list. And I do not usually log out. Have but not the last two weeks.

I do notice that it shows __ number of anonymous members at the bottom.

Its been going on for a week or two and I should have mentioned it ..

I just thought users were logging in anonymous, but as you said I see the same thing were I am not even logged in at all then all of a sudden I am. Hmmm don't have a clue , guess I'll look into it ASAP.

Just tried it again.. didn't show my name until I clicked on a thread..

Maybe its some stupid Windows upgrade.. my husband has us hooked up to those automatic things. z

I am showing up on Ultimate..

Just closed out Explorer and came back to BB.. didn't see my name at the bottom.... Clicked on the thread and added something... name on bottom.. went to UB .. still there.. did not close out and came back and my name is at the bottom..

Pam .. So .. I am only losing my name when I close out Explorer and come back. And my name does not show up until click on a thread. I have not had this happen on UB.. I know Christopher upgraded. IDK ..

I don't know what this is all about. There's a forum about these invision forums that the administrators here can visit, run a search, and find out what's going on. If Al doesn't have a chance to do it I'll check it out later...

Funny Pam - you mentioned UB. I was just thinking of them this morning. Haven't thought about the site in... a long time.

Hal, I already did , seems its all over the IVFree sites, we are not alone!
I put in a help ticket already as well. haven't heard back yet , been only a day.
