Welcome
It's 1719 in the West Indies. The Caribbean Sea is boiling in the war and there is no quiet place ashore or at sea. Besides the political turmoil which leads the colonies at each other's throats, pirates and privateers are on the prowl. Come spend some time with us BEFORE THE MAST, on any ship you like!

Daigh Edmund
played by Thomas
The faithful privateer is a good father figure, caring for his crewmates, and, at the same time, a well rounded and well researched character, written by a very good writer, who has returned to us after a long break.
Faithfulness deserves to be spotlighted too!

Port Royal, destroyed by an earthquake, is not quite a safe harbour anymore for privateers and for pirates plying the Spanish trade shipping lanes.

Hispaniola The second-largest island in the Caribbean, divided between French rule (one third, the richest part) and Spanish rule (Eastern two thirds). French, English and Dutch pirates have stopping points in the uninhabited bays. The French part’s capital, Port de Paix, founded in 1665 by filibusters, just across Tortuga, is a flourishing town, surrounded by slave-dependent plantations.
